Swapoween Recap

I'm a terrible blogger! I signed up for the Swapoween hosted by the lovely ladies over at Chaotic Goddess Swaps. I was supposed to have this linked up by yesterday but my weekend was kinda crazy you know. Womp womp.

I got paired up with Brittany from Extra Frosting Please. She sent me a super cute package and even put some awesome Halloween themed scrapbook paper on the box!

She sent some awesome gifts as well. And she did even better because she sent Teagan some stuff too.

Friday's Letters

I made it through my 5th Halloween as a mom. It never gets any easier if you're wondering. I always feel like a 98 year old woman after it's all said and done. But it's fucking Halloween so it worth it!

Let's get to the letters.

Dear Teagan, last night was our first time "offically" trick-or-treating. And I loved it. Yes, you wore me out. Yes, you drove me a little crazy. But you had so much fun and that's what matters. Next year, we'll do even more and do it even bigger. Thanks for an awesome night. Love you bunches.

Dear Commenters, I promise I'm not ignoring you. I promise. I have a billion e-mails that need to be answered but every time I start I get over whelmed. I just need a day off to do all the blog things.

Dear Anxiety, you've been getting the best of me for about a month and a half now. I haven't told anybody until this week. I think I drove my mom crazy with my freak out about Christmas. I'm not prepared in any way. I don't even have a clue what I'm getting my daughter. Ugh.

Dear Work, I'm pretty sure you hate me. I know I've been absent a lot but that's all about to change. And since I'll be there more, that means I'm gonna need you to um ya know...get busier. It's been way too slow and momma needs Christmas monies please!

Dear No Shave November, well hello. My boyfriend has a completely bald face right now and I can't say I love it. Nope, not at all. I need his beard back please. Shannon and I are OG beard lovers so now I feel like I'm fronting. psh. I'd say this means I don't have to shave my legs, but please, I haven't' done that in months.

Dear Weekend, you're my last weekend off. I'm ready to celebrate like no other. Why am I celebrating you ask? Well...

Dear Auntie, happy 50th birthday!!! I know that you're not really that old. Ok, maybe you are but you've never acted like it and I admire that. I'm ready to celebrate with you and have way too much fun! Plus, we get an extra hour of drinking. Woop woop. The bars close in OK at 2. We're going out Saturday night, the same night as the time change so when it hits 2, it's really only 1. I love you so much. =)

The Best Holiday

I haven't even started my post yet and it's already wearing me out. I had to go search every social media site I've ever been apart of to find pictures for today's post!

I love Halloween. I don't know if it's my favorite or not because when it's here I say it is, but when Christmas gets here I say that it is. Anyway...I do love Halloween. More than I love a lot of things. I mean free candy, at my age I can still wear a slutty costume and get away with it, and parties just make it all the better. 

When Helene and Sarah announced this link up I actually thought it was next week. I got super excited because I could mush and gush about how Blake and I started dating on Halloween. Then I realized that it was too early so I thought I'd take it back to when I started dressing up again. Consequently, it was the year that Blake and I got together. It was also my first year in slutty costumes. I thought I would be original and be a gangsta. It's...interesting. 18 year olds don't make the wisest choices but that's why they're fun! Apparently my bra was hanging out like that all night. Why god why? 

And just because I love this picture...we had just had the talk and we were "official".

p.s. I used to be a blonde.

The next year I didn't really plan on being anything. I didn't have a lot of money and I didn't give myself any time. So I through a few items from my closest together and decided to be a cowgirl. I like this the best because all I had to find was a cowboy hat. And apparently I thought that I should have some boobs. I mean...I do have boobs but again, I guess I thought they should be out for everybody to see. I also apparently decided that I wasn't going to take any pictures with my own phone. I don't know why. 

And then there was last year. At the bonfire we went to I won sexiest costume. And it's all in thanks to my wife. I had her pick almost all of it out. We went as a bride and groom. It was super fun. And I can still wear a couple of the things I bought for it! Yes, the boobs came out but they looked a lot better. I don't think that I was skinny enought to pull it off though. Oops. 

This year we don't have anything planned =( and I don't think I'm getting a new costume. I might have to throw something together from all of this. Anybody have any ideas? I HAVE to do something. 

Halloween!

I missed you guys! Hope you missed me. We had the funeral Monday and yesterday I wasn't around a computer. I haven't even been commenting very much =(. Sad sad. But hopefully now I'm back in full blogger mode...we shall see.

I already told y'all what the weekend was supposed to look like for me but unfortunately it didn't go as planned. We didn't do the Cure for Cancer run =(. It's a long story. There's always next year! I spent my Saturday prepping for the Halloween party! It was extremely fun. Wife and I had to go shopping to finalize her costume for the FOURTH time because she won't listen to me. It's good though. lol. Wife, Boyfriend, and I had a blast. She hadn't drank in two months so she got lit realllllly fast. It was great! Boyfriend and I won the costume contest =). He won for scariest and I won sexiest. It was really unexpected! Take a look!

Our party hosts passed out...it was 5 in the morning.

Yep, a great party that lasted until 5 in the morning. Fucking awesome! Oh...we had to pee outside. That wasn't too fun. Until I got drunk and then I didn't mind. Lots of more pictures on my instagram. Follow me @ clovermarie!

Today is Halloween and I just got an awesome phone call saying that somebody will close for me at work tonight. =) I don't have to rush around with the baybay now. I get to enjoy her company! But it is Wednesday so she has to go to her dad's for a couple of hours. I'll watch a scary something, hand out candy, and drink some vino! 

And it's also my third anniversary with boyfriend. Hence why we get excited for Halloween. I love him =) Unfortunately we don't get to celebrate tonight but hopefully we can go out this weekend. Maybe I can get him to go to the haunted trail down the road with me tonight. A girl can dream. 

I'll be back tomorrow with some pictures of the kid and something about saying No in November! No more hints than that no. Peace out kiddies.

Where's My Nap??

Sorry for the lack of blogs this week. My great grandpa passed away. He's in a better place now and my great grandma was ready to have him back. He will be missed dearly though. He was really sick and now he knows no suffering. Only happiness remains for him. =)


Alright...now for the not so seriousness...this post is brought to you by "Fuck why did I drink so much last night". Yep..girl's got a hangover. Effing tired. 

Yep, there we are in all our glory. Boyfriend would kill me if he knew I took this picture and plastered it on the interwebs. Isn't he precious in his pink and purple blankie. lol.

But I'll do it again. I don't even care. 

This weekend is gonna be crazy for me. I work tonight at 4 and I'll get off around 10...After work I'm making a 4 hour drive to Norman OK (Boomer Sooner!) to see my auntie. We're gonna participate in a marathon tomorrow. Cure for Cancer run by the Susan G. Komen foundation. Ok, we're not running, we're gonna walk it but we'll walk the shit out of it! 3.1 miles...go me. Did I mention that this ish starts at 830 in the AM. Yeah..and we have to get up god knows when to be there on time. Little sleep for this girl. After that I'll drive back home and put on my Halloween costume for a party! Super excited. Well...I was but that wife girl text me and said her costume isn't gonna work out. That's an issue because our costumes go together. Mine won't make sense without hers. -.- So yeah...I'm busy. And pumped!

I have some errands to run before I can leave tonight. And all I wanna do is nap. WAHHHH. 

Peace out homeskillets. Gotta get shit done. P.S...I'll be doing my errands dressed like a bum and it's completely ok. So if you hear about girl dressed in jammies stabbing somebody's eyeballs out it might have been me. KIDDING.
