32 Pieces of Happy

I'm late to the party (what a surprise) but I thought that I would join Erin for 32 things that make me happy. Ya know, because after the week I had last week I think it's appropriate! Here we go. These are in no particular order.

1. All the puppies and kitties but this one the most. I mean look at that. I get all the snuggles.

2. Family reading this...this could get inappropriate buttttt.....the fact that after four and a half years I have a man that still thinks I'm the sexiest thing ever and would jump at a chance to see me naked and get  a little lovin.

3. The family I have. I don't know where I'd be without them.

4. My hoodie. Does that surprise anybody?

5. Going to concerts. I love the shit out of them. And they're even better with my concert people. And when you get to shake hands with Luke and Keith.

6. Country music. I know that a lot of people don't consider the current stream of country music as country, but I do. I love it all. Old, new, except for T. Swift. She isn't country, get her off my damn radio.

7. This guy. And all his butt shaking glory.

8. Freshly clean laundry that I put on after I get my body all fresh and so clean clean. It's the best feeling!

9. New clothes. What girl doesn't love new clothes?

10. A good old fashioned thunder storm. If only they would last longer!

11. Taco Bell. Always and forever. We're besties.

12.  This little lady.

13. New bed stuff! Which I love mine by the way. I totally need to post about it.

14. When clearance is on additional clearance and you don't know it. I feel like I win at shopping on those days.

15. Online shopping. I mean I get to sit in the comfort of my own home sans pants and people bothering me. Win.

16. The first day of Spring where it's warm enough to put the sunroof back and the windows down. Yes.

17. The first Fall day where I can actually wear my boots and scarves and not sweat to death.

18. Good mail days. Where I get packages and letters, not bills.

19. The holiday season. I mean, how can that not make people super happy!

20. A good hair day. Like this one

21. When the Cowboys win a game. And the cheifs lose. lol.

22. Getting my hair done. I mean who doesn't love to look hot!

23. Pictures.

24. Girl's nights out or at home.

25. When my makeup looks just right.

26. Office supplies. Especially pens, notebooks, and planners. I die. I can't get enough.

27. Random acts of kindness.

28. Making everybody laugh. Laughter is the best medicine ya know.

29. Glitter and sparkles and sequins. They make my heart burst.

30. When the DVR hasn't been watched and all the good shows are waiting for me.

31. Finding new blogs to read that are just perfect.

32. Good tips at work.

Happy List

Everybody loves to be happy. Le duh. And if you don't, well, I'm truly sorry about whatever has happened in your life that makes you want to be unhappy. But that's neither here nor there.

I was going through my blog roll on Monday night after I got off work, and of course I was reading Stephanie's blog. Her post that day was her happy list. I told her that of course, I was going to make one. I don't know if you were around then, but back in August of last year, I did the same thing. You can see it here. But since I have grown as a human person and as a blogger I'm gonna do it again. What makes me happy is constantly changing.

What A Weekend

Ahhhhhh!!!! I had a fabuous weekend but it went by so fast and I don't wanna go back to work tomorrow. Sad face. I know that I said last week that I hate doing weekend reviews and I really do, but this weekend has to have one. Actually, it will probably be reviewed all week. I promise not to go on about the same stuff over and over though. =)

We had a fabulous time! I don't think I've ever had a girl's weekend and this one just set the bar for the rest of them. I don't even know what I want to write about today so I'll just show you some pictures.

Of course I have to blog again!

This may have been read before my other post of the day, and if you missed that shit, go back and read it. Pure gold.

Anyway...I was gonna post all the fun drinks I wanna try I'm gonna try this summer. But pinning shit from pinterest is a pain in the ass anymore. Get your shit together pinterest people. You made it way to hard to share our pins on our blogs.

So...now I'm sitting here thinking of what to talk about now. I've still got nothing. So here are some of my favorite party pictures. These are near and dear to my heart. And they say so much about my amazing group of friends.

Notice a theme? I like to make the kissy face/duck face when I've been drinking. And on that note...I need to get drunk soon. Plan. 

Maple Leaf Weekend

It's time for my weekend update. It was just way to much for a Monday though.

I had a great weekend! I was off of work all weekend long and I got to spend it with people who mean the most to me!

Friday night boyfriend and I went to another couple's house to drink too much beer and play crazy drinking games. Y'all ever heard of Presidents and Assholes? If you haven't I suggest you look it up. Normally we get  crazy drunk but because everybody had to get up in the morning we weren't passing out drinks like we do. I didn't take a lot of pictures. I did get this one though

This was boyfriend's hand...see I told y'all he can be quite evil. He didn't get this once...but TWICE! 

Saturday was the one and only Maple Leaf festival! I got all super excited for it just to be let down by the stupid parade. It was terrible. There were hardly any floats, the bands didn't really perform, there were two 15 minute breaks in the parade and so many politicians! I'm sorry but that's just not what I came for. And it's a long parade. Not some rinky dink bullshit...so it could have been better. I wanted to day drink and I think if I would have been day drunk it would have worked out better. True story.

I do have to say though, I was quite pleased with the company I had. Those six people with 

me that day really mean a lot to my heart and I wouldn't have had it any other way. 

I did take one picture during the parade too! We have a place here that makes dynamite. They had a float for the first time this year and it was really cool! I'd say best thing in the parade. 

Yes, that's confetti! They had "dynamite" that shot out confetti. Pretty fucking awesome if you ask me.

After the parade we all went to lunch at a local Chinese place. It was just ok. Why did we eat lunch at a restaurant when there is plenty of fried food to be had by all? Beats me. I didn't eat very much so that I could have the fried foods. See I had a fat weekend and I'm not ashamed. I ate whatever I wanted because starting yesterday I'm watching what I'm eating. Whole different post though. Let's look at my food intake. 

Ok, so this wasn't mine but I had a lick and it was good!

Roasted corn on the cob. Umm yes! I put garlic salt and pepper on it and it was delish.

Look at all that butter on the top of that paper towel. Mmmmmm. lol.

Funnel cakes...I never eat a whole one by myself. I appreciate not visiting the dentist.

Teag loves sugar so she munched out on it.

Again, not mine but I had some. 

And finally day drinking...haha. Just this one though. I was too tired for more.

Seriously there was so much more I wanted to try. There was a caramel apple delight...it looked good! 

And I just love fair foods. I can't help it. 

We walked around and looked at the arts and craft show. Teag got a really cool name plate for her wall in her room.

She loves hearts, peace signs, and rainbows so this made her really happy. I think my daughter was a hippie in another life. 

And all I got was this 

A really super sore sunburn. 

And memories to last a life time! 

I seriously could not have been happier with my day. After we were done Wife and I went 

to boyfriend's house and hung out with him for a bit. Then we went to eat at Olive Garden with my aunt

for a great girlie dinner! 

Sunday was filled with some more family time! Auntie and I took Teag to a corn maze/fall festival type deal.

I was actually looking for a pumpkin patch but fell into the corn maze thing. It was fun. And we got to buy a pumpkin so now we finally have one! 

See how excited she was! I just love it. lol. 

And that was my fabulous weekend. I'm pretty happy about it. =) 

Security

Remember all those times I've talked about my ratty old hoodie? Do ya? Do ya??? Well, I finally decided to post about it! And there will be pics included!

I admit, I have a hoodie that I am dependant on. I can't help it. I used to have a blankie but my ex-step dad didn't like it and threw it away. Sad story. I believe that since I never got over having something to sleep with that I continue to use something. And I don't have to sleep with it, it just makes me feel better. There are times when I can go months without it but here lately, I've needed wanted it. So yeah, I'm 21 with a security hoodie. I do share it with my little person and dog though!

There used to be a back story to it but that doesn't matter anymore. I don't keep it around for that reason. I keep it because I LOVE it. It's sooooo soft and squishy. I use it as a pillow most of the time. I've had this hoodie since I was in 5th grade. So that's like ummm....11 years. That makes me feel old. That's half of my life.

They had just painted the window sill and I leaned on it to look out the window.

Apparently after 11 years this is what happens to a sleeve.

I keep it in my purse. Laugh if you must. I know I am. lol.

 

 

The back. It sure as hell doesn't look as rough as the front does. Check out the seams though.

The hoodie was made by Bugle Boy Jean Company. Remember them? I'm pretty sure they made some baggy ass sag ass jeans that you could only get at WalMart. lol.

 

And that's my happiness. I just adore it. And now I want to sleep with it.

But Boyfriend is laying on it. And if I ask him to get off of it he'll make some comment about

burning it. So, off to sleep with the little sleeve I guess!

My Happiness

Hey hey hey. I have a little time and I thought I'd stop in and ya know...write a post. Sorry for the delay. I need to quit apologizing. It's my blog. I can do what I want. But I know you all need the scoop on my life and I need to quit waiting so long between posts.
