These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

Yay it's Friday!  I hope you cupcakes all have a wonderful 3 day weekend. I'll be at work making that $$.

Anyway, when I saw that Amanda from Meet @ The Barre was hosting her first ever Friday Favorites link up I knew I couldn't leave her hanging.

Here are my favs this week!

Here's a back story before I get to my first favorite thing. When we bought tickets to ACM's I decided that I wanted to rock the boho look. Kind of. And that meant I had to grow my hair out. I haven't had long hair for 5 years. I'm excited to see how long I can get it. While browsing Pinterest (we forgot about our love affair, but have since rekindled our romance)  I found the hair I want.

My Favorite Hairstyle

Favorite Food
We had pizza quesadillas last night and they are delicious. You just need tortillas, your choice of pizza toppings, pizza sauce, and cheese! Easy, sort of nutritious, wonderful dinner!

Favorite Song
Believe it or not it's not a country song this week! I've been digging Hey Brother by Avicci for awhile but this week I couldn't get enough of it.

Favorite Moment of the Week
Even though Teagan and I fight a lot, she melts my heart a little bit more. Yesterday was elegant day at her school and she was so excited. It was all she could talk about Wednesday night when she was being sweet. I love how girlie she is. It's the complete opposite of me and it's cute. So Thursday when she was all ready I had to take a picture. She did her own hair and picked out her own outfit. I just felt like my little girl was all grown up. I'd like that to stop please.

That's it for this week. I'm gonna stalk everybody else's posts to get more ideas for myself! Happy Friday cupcakes!

Twenty Three

Happy Valentine's Day cupcakes. I hope you spend it with the people you love the most. Because that's what it's all about...LOVE!

And me. Yeah remember... It's my birthday today!

I don't have a lot planned but it's already been a great day. We're gonna have a nice family dinner tonight and I can't wait. Tomorrow are for the shenanigans!

It's also this girl's birthday

One of my favorite ladies in blogland. And somebody that I consider a great friend.

So Jordan, have the happiest birthday yet. =)

Make sure to stop by and tell her happy day!

I'm off  to take a nap because well...it's my birthday and I can!

But before I go...

Pay It Forward

I wasn't going to post today because I really don't have the time. But something happened to me that made me want to come here.

Yesterday wasn't the best day I've ever had. Actually, far from it. I couldn't sleep last night so I felt it being dragged over to today too.

I had just dropped Tea off at school and went ot get myself some breakfast at Mickey D's because it's what I do on Fridays. The line was long but I stayed anyway. I was irritated by how slow the line was and my car was making weird noises. There was a Range Rover in front of me and an Escalade behind me. I was just thinking mean things about their cars because I'm sure they work properly. Even if they don't, they run better than mine. I got up to the window and thought finally. The girl at the window told me that the Range Rover in front of me had paid for my breakfast.

And I lost it. Ugly cries insued. Right in front of the poor lady just trying to do her job. I hadn't felt that grateful for somebody in a long time. It really is the little things that matter. That person, who I was judging, just did one of the kindest acts ever to somebody who really needed some holiday spirit thrown her way. And now I feel better. Today will be better. I'll remember that Range Rover for the rest of my life. Right down to the Tulsa, OK license plate holder they had, even though they live in Missouri. And if I see them again, I will thank them.

That's all I've got today. Just remember, somebody somewhere needs some of your holiday spirit. You can show it in the littlest of ways. You don't have a clue how much it will help. A little smile goes a long way.

Linking up with Whitney while I'm here!

p.s. Yes, I paid for the Escalade behind me. And I hope it continued on from there.

What Makes Me Want To Blog

Happy Friday cupcakes! Hope your week was absolutely amazing. Mine was pretty good. I can't complain.

I took a little hiatus this week and only posted once. I just didn't have anything to say and I didn't want to post just to post. I even contemplated whether or not to continue on with it. Sometimes it just seems to be  hassle and I don't want that.  It's a place I come to spill my guts, or to show off the things I'm obsessed with. I knew that deleting it wasn't the answer. How would I manage my friendships that have grown from this blog? I want this blog to be something people can relate to. I want it to be a place where I can make wonderful friends. So, if I don't blog, it's just because I don't think I have anything worth saying. And sometimes, that's ok. And sometimes when I'm not blogging, I don't read very many blogs. A break is a nice thing.

Anyway...I'm going to link up for 5 for Friday again. It's the cool thing to do, and I always want to be a cool kid. Let's do it!

1. I got my fabulous package from Whit! I ordered her first shirt from her new venture and I was super excited about it. It came with a koozie! Awesome free present =). Anyway...this shirt had a huge impact on my decision to not quit blogging. I mean, how I could I wear it with pride if I wasn't blogging? Not very many people in my real life know about it, but now I'm ready to share. When people ask I want to get all giddy and tell them all about my favorite thing.

Whitney hasn't posted her next shirt yet, but make sure you're paying attention for the announcement!

2. We decorated a little for Christmas! For the first time in years we have a normal people Christmas tree. It's nice but definitely not me. But it makes the little happy and that's what matters. We actually have two trees. One's a little smaller and we let Teagan go to town on it. It has all of our old ornaments on it.

3. I'm almost done Christmas shopping. Write that down. I never ever ever get done this early and it's super exciting. I just need to finish a few things up and I can feel relieved. I'm so ready.

4. Helene posted about how having a fb page for your blog is important. And she backed it up with reasons it is. At first I didn't believe her but ya know...when the proof is there you have to take it. So come like my fb page please! I promise to try and use it more than I do.

5. It's Friday. I think that's worth celebrating! Happy weekend ya'll, but before ya go...I have to link up. So here's some old school N*SYNC for ya. And it's the perfect song for the weekend!

Tagged

Oh look, it's Friday. Womp womp. I work all weekend and most of the time I host so I won't get as much $$ as I want. I had to be at work at 9 yesterday, 10 today, and 8 tomorrow. In the morning. All three of those days. I picked to not work at places that serve breakfast because I don't want to get up early. And look at this. Let's skip to next week please!

Anyway...I'm joining 5 on Friday. I was also tagged by Jordan to answer 5 questions she selected. Here we go!
1. What artist/song/album do you have on repeat right now?
(Jacked from an old school MySpace bulletin)
This is always hard for me.  I have a couple of songs that I'm in love with right now.

2. If you could see one artist/band perform before you die, who would it be?
Hands down Britney Spears. I will see her before I die. I've been a Britney fan since day 1. I'll probably cry when the day comes. I mean, I was gonna say Luke Bryan but I've seen him. And almost every other country music artist I love this year so she seemed like the best pick!

3. What is one thing you have worked towards this year? Would you say it was a success?
Wow, shit's about to get real. I worked at the beginning of the year to lose weight and get in better shape. Unfortunately, I didn't keep it up, I didn't eat better or even go to the gym often. It wasn't a success and I'm not very proud of myself for it. My body is a huge self esteem thing. I've posted about it before but I've never actually said everything I needed to say. Maybe someday.

4. If you could go back in time, which age would you want to repeat? Why?
I'd like to be 13 again. Even though it's a terrible age, there are things, a lot of things, I would do differently. I made some shitty choices, dated some shitty people, and was a shitty person all around. I would go back and not date the shitty people, and be less shitty to my mom. But my ass wouldn't go back to jr. high. Thanks but no thanks.

5. If money weren't an issue, would you live somewhere else? Where?
In my crazy fantasy world I'd like to move to Dallas or Nashville. I love Dallas even though I haven't seen that much of it. Nashville is the home of country music so yeah...duh.
Sometimes Blake and I talk about moving to Tulsa. It's only tow hours away. Or Springfield, it's only an hour away. I don't think it would happen but who really knows!

Friday's Letters

I made it through my 5th Halloween as a mom. It never gets any easier if you're wondering. I always feel like a 98 year old woman after it's all said and done. But it's fucking Halloween so it worth it!

Let's get to the letters.

Dear Teagan, last night was our first time "offically" trick-or-treating. And I loved it. Yes, you wore me out. Yes, you drove me a little crazy. But you had so much fun and that's what matters. Next year, we'll do even more and do it even bigger. Thanks for an awesome night. Love you bunches.

Dear Commenters, I promise I'm not ignoring you. I promise. I have a billion e-mails that need to be answered but every time I start I get over whelmed. I just need a day off to do all the blog things.

Dear Anxiety, you've been getting the best of me for about a month and a half now. I haven't told anybody until this week. I think I drove my mom crazy with my freak out about Christmas. I'm not prepared in any way. I don't even have a clue what I'm getting my daughter. Ugh.

Dear Work, I'm pretty sure you hate me. I know I've been absent a lot but that's all about to change. And since I'll be there more, that means I'm gonna need you to um ya know...get busier. It's been way too slow and momma needs Christmas monies please!

Dear No Shave November, well hello. My boyfriend has a completely bald face right now and I can't say I love it. Nope, not at all. I need his beard back please. Shannon and I are OG beard lovers so now I feel like I'm fronting. psh. I'd say this means I don't have to shave my legs, but please, I haven't' done that in months.

Dear Weekend, you're my last weekend off. I'm ready to celebrate like no other. Why am I celebrating you ask? Well...

Dear Auntie, happy 50th birthday!!! I know that you're not really that old. Ok, maybe you are but you've never acted like it and I admire that. I'm ready to celebrate with you and have way too much fun! Plus, we get an extra hour of drinking. Woop woop. The bars close in OK at 2. We're going out Saturday night, the same night as the time change so when it hits 2, it's really only 1. I love you so much. =)

Linking up with Whit too. Blake played DJ last night and played this jam. I say that it's on T.I.'s best cd ever. Enjoy.

Concert People

Happy Friday cupcakes. I don't know if I've hit an all time low or high because I'm currently blogging from my bed. I can't lie, it's pretty great. I'm comfortable and warm and just feel like I'm in the right place. Or I'm just lazy and can't bother with being an actual human person today and I don't want to change clothes or associate with anybody. I might even take a little siesta when I finish this post. =) This is what Fridays are all about.

So I went to see Florida Georgia Line on Wednesday night and it was fucking amazing. Those boys can party hard. And I wouldn't mind partying with BK. Mmhmm. But seriously, I saw them when they opened for Luke and they were good but I didn't pay them much attention because I wasn't into them yet. So this time around I was super pumped and it was everything I expected it to be.

Since this is like my 8th concert this year, I thought I'd give you some ways to make sure you enjoy yourself. You ready?

(1) Always have at least one kind of alcoholic beverage. That's the first rule of every concert. I couldn't handle the crowds if I didn't have some liquid of some sort running through my veins. The more you have, the less you care about everything but the band. Also, the more you have, the more likely it will be that you won't be able to stand up and you might try and sell your boots. Or pee outside. But always have some.

Always have something to drink. Or many somethings.
(2) Go with the right people. This would have been number one but I like booze better so it won. But seriously, if you go to a concert with the wrong people, prepare to have a terrible time. The right people won't make fun of you when you have to stop and lay down because you drank too much and you might need to puke. And they'll push you away from the huge fight that's happening because they don't want you in it. And sometimes they'll take your phone and take a picture from way up high because they know that you can't get a good one. =) Blake was awfully nice to me.

(3) Know your venue. I had been to Dallas Stadium before so I knew what to expect when we went to see Kenny again. I've been to the place that we're going to go see Keith at tomorrow. Although it's been 6 years, I kinda remember how it's set up. What I didn't know, was anything about the venue where we saw FLAGA Line. It was at a private college and that shit was small. Like, no matter where you were sitting you had good seats small. Not too hard to get lost in. Also the most important reason to know this is so that you know where the beer guy is. Remember, he's  the most important.

(4) If you can save yourself from it, don't go to a concert at a college. This may just be my personal preference but it wasn't my favorite. College kids are drunk asses. I've never partied with college kids before and I had no clue that I would get to watch some "awesome" girls and guys share slobber with each other. Seriously on Wednesday there were these two drunk girls who were making out with these guys that I assume were their boyfriends the whole time. Like you know, the drunk sloppy makeout. THEN THEY WOULD SWITCH GUYS. Like seriously??? And drunk college bros are asses too. They don't give a shit who they stand right directly in front of. ugh. End rant./

(5) This is the most important. Have a good fucking time. Take too many pictures, sing as loud as you possibly can, have horrendous dance moves, do whatever makes you feel like you had the best experience of your life. Because that's how you should feel after every concert. And I can say that I have had the best experiences so far. =) Because anytime there are confetti cannons after a concert, you know you did it right!

Of course I'm linking up with Whitsicle for #backthatazzup Friday. And I'm gonna join Sarah for Fan Friday too. Because duh.

I can't get this song out of my head. And it's appropriate for the weekend I'm about to have!

Backin My Azz Up With Blake Shelton

Happy Friday cucpakes! I have this whole weekend off and I'm gonna enjoy every second of it.

Tonight I'm gonna go see Blake Shelton and I'm super pumped about it. So I figured for #backthatazzup Friday I'd give you some good Blake Shelton songs that I hope he'll play.

First there's Ol' Red. I love this song. And I loved it before I knew it was Blake. It's just a damn good country song. If he doesn't sing this I'll be sad.

Of course I have to hear my current favorite, Mine Would Be You. Seeing as how it's on the new cd it will probably be sung. It's just a beautiful song.

Sure Be Cool If You Did is a great song. I was obsessed with it when it came out. I like to pretend that he's talking to me when we're in a bar together. I pretend a lot to music. It's my thing.

And because no Blake Shelton party is complete without him rapping, how about some Boys 'Round Here. It's a great party song. And I love singing the redneck part. When I'm at work and we run out of bread we're supposed to yell to the back and I always yell bread in tune to red red red red redneck. The people I work with love me.

Drink On It is another one of my favorites. And we all know I love to drink at concerts so I plan on drinking to it. =)

These are My Day Savers

So yesterday I tried to post a really whiny post on how much my blog sucks right now. My internet decided not to work as I tried to hit publish. That's probably a good thing. Because I read it again tonight, and jeez I sounded like an asshole. But that's neither here nor there.

All I want to say is that I don't enjoy this space as much as I used to. And that makes me feel all the sads. I still get excited about it, but at the same time, I'm not receiving much feedback. I have my besties who always comment and I love them so much for it, but I would like to hear from other people too. Lezbehonest, everybody wants to open their email and see some new comments from people. And if you say you don't, I'm judging you and probably giving you some dirty look. When the comments stop coming, the blog starts lacking. I know that's also my issue though. I don't really have any great material right now. I just can't think of anything original or "good enough." I know I'm my harshest critic but I feel that if I don't think something on my blog is great, than you probably don't either. That needs to change like yesterday. So throw me a bone...help me find my way back here. I want to be here.

Now that I've got that out of the way, I feel better.

I had a shitty night at work last night. I don't wanna talk about it but it made me think, there are things in life that were created for servers who have a shitty night at work. And it's my job to tell you about them. So here we go.

1. Booze
Seriously after you've been yelled at, put up with annoying children, put up with elderly people who just don't understand how things work, and shitty tips...you can always rely on the bottle to pick you back up. You've seen Waiting right? Servers really do go out to the bar to drink off a long day.

2. Shoe insoles
We stand up. Allllll day. And we continuously walk around. A good pair of insoles can make even the worst days better. But those bitches wear out way to fast. Seriously after 4 weeks I need new ones. And I'm too cheap for new ones. So if you want to send me some I'll love you forever.

3. DVRS
I know, you think they were made for you. Nope, no way, wrong. They're made for people who work nights and don't get to watch good TV until after it's been on for everybody else to see. After a long, maybe kinda shitty day at work, I get so excited when I come home and realize all my favorite shows were on and I can watch them without commercials! Hahaha suckers, no commercials for this girl.

4. A Sense of Humor
Because after a long day at work, when you're out boozing it up with other servers, you gotta laugh at that one idiot server who just sucks. Or the asshole customers and the evil shit you might have done to them. Or the fact that you're getting made fun of and you need a quick comeback.

5. Beds
Obviously. After a long night sometimes all you want to do is curl up in a ball and taste your own salty tears while Netflixing your life away. Not that I'd know or anything. There's nothing that your favorite blanket and big pillows can't cure. If you don't love your bed that much, there's something wrong.

I just love this song. And it makes me happy. Which I need after a long day at work!

Yeah, I Got A #$^$$ Problem

Happy Friday cupcakes! I don't have much time so I'm gonna bust out as much word vomit as I can. Ready!

- It's Friday the 13. Spooky spooky. I love the 13 even if it is a Friday. It's my favorite day of the month. But when I'm working...all hell breaks loose. I've knocked waters over on people every Friday the 13 that I can remember when I'm serving. It's a trip. When I delivered pizza...something would happen too. Let's hope all goes well for me today. I don't work tonight thank goodness. It's like my managers knew or something. Yes, I am superstitious about some things.

- I have a hot date with a hibachi grill tonight. The boy, the mini, and I are gonna go eat. It's one of her favorite things and since I hardly ever get a weekend night off without requesting it, I figured I better take full advantage of it. Then there's a trip to the Halloween store to finish off Mini's costume. Yes, I know it's the middle of September. We love Halloween and like to get shit taken care of. Hahaha who am I kidding, we never get anything taken care of early. Except this.

- I didn't think it was possible but I found something disgusting at Chik-fil-a. Don't ever have their breakfast burritos. I've never met a breakfast burrito I didn't like but this one...oh this one. The egg was terrible. I didn't know that they served their regular menu in the morning too. Next time chiki-minis it is. Oh, and the closest Chik-fil-a is like 20 minutes away from me. I've had a busy morning!

- My fantasy team better do a shit ton better this week. Seriously guys, I had the least amount of points out of everybody last week. 67 effing points. That's it. The next highest person was at 97. Pathetic. Blake says that I have a great team they all just played shitty. Here's to hoping. I'm looking at you Cam Newton.

- The Cowboys are only 3 hours away from me on Sunday but I can't go. =( I'm so mad at myself for not trying harder to get tickets. I've never been to an NFL game. Who wants to have their first NFL game at Arrowhead Stadium anyway? Not this girl. I hope the Chiefs get beat on. But Jamal Charles can do ok, because he's on my fantasy team.

- Last but certainly not least, I'm backing it up with Whitney. I'm kind of obsessed with these songs right now. I just can't help it.

Why I Love Football

Welp, it's the day we've all been waiting for. Friday is finally here. So let down your hair, get comfy and stay awhile!

Last night was the season opener of the best sport ever. Yep, NFL Football. Sorry I'm not sorry that I prefer NFL over college. I just can't get into college sports. Now don't get me wrong, I have a college team that way I can root for them whenever somebody asks, but the big boys are where it's at for me.

Football brings back some awesome memories. And I'd figure I'd share some of them with you today. Because I'm a kind person like that. Just agree with me.

When I was little, my dad was all football every Sunday. And it was magical. He always made some homemade cheese dip and little smokies with his secret awesome barbecue sauce. And it always tasted better than yours. I bet I'm right.

When touchdowns were made by the Cowboys, because ya know, we love them, he would always yell "Touchdown Notre Dame!" At the time I had no clue what in the hell he meant. But I get it now. Gotta love being an adult. The things that you learn to understand.

Then there were Sundays at my grandma's where everybody gathered too. My grandpa loves the Chiefs. Somebody help him. So, if there wasn't a Cowboy game on, we were watching them. Sometimes we'd flip back and forth. Wanna talk about confusing.

Then there was her food. If it was cold, there was the best potato soup I'd ever had the pleasure of eating. And if it was warm, my uncle was outside firing up the grill because duh, that's what America is made of!

Last night, there were a few happy tears when the fireworks started and the fans were screaming. I may not get all the technical stuff about football, but for the most part I understand the game. And I enjoy watching it. Just not every single game on a Sunday. Blake, that's for you if you ever read this.

Football is here. And I can't wait to see what happens! If you need me Sunday, I'll be watching to hope that the Cowboys beat the Giants. Ok, actually I'll be at work but I'll be checking my phone every 5 seconds. Sorry Erin!

See Ya August

It's Friday. I'm neither excited or disappointed about this. Weird right. My thoughts are jumbled today so youu're gonna get brain mush. Are you ready?

- My draft for my fantasy team is tomorrow. Did I tell you what the name was? Well, incase I didn't it's Tittsburg Feelers. Thanks to Sarah for the wonderful idea. And none of my friends that are playing know that I have a blog so they think I'm a creative genius. Thanks again Sarah! I've done thismuch to prepare for the draft tomorrow. I know, I know. How am I gonna win if I haven't even looked at anything. Last year's winner just picked hot guys and she won. I'm sure Blake is gonna sit me down and teach me way too much for my brain to handle tomorrow.

- Damn Texans beat the Cowboys last night. My blogland bestie Jordan loves the Texans. She's on cloud nine today. I told her not to get used to that shit. What's worse is that I heard the stadium was full of more Texan fans than Cowboy fans. AT OUR OWN STADIUM. Pathetic. I bet they're just pretending they usck this season that way when pre-season is over they can kick ass.

I shouldn't make fun of my own team but this is hilarious. Best caption wins!

- Why are my bills always due at the beginning of the month. My 3 most expensive ones are all due the first 3 days of the month. I'm poor for like a week and a half after that. And about the time I catch back up and think, "Oh, I can go shopping! Woohoo!" it's bill time again. Jeez, life is always getting in the way of fun stuff.

- I'm glad August is over. All it brought to the game was shitty weather. The first two weeks all it did was rain. I thought about building an ark. It's partially started in Blake's back yard. Then, after the rain it brought a terrible heat wave. See ya next year August. You suck, nobody's going to miss you. And while we're at it, let's just skip September and get straight to the good stuff - October! I have so much going on that month and I can't wait!

- If you follow me on insta or twitter than you know that my other blogland bestie Meg sent me a sweet little package. See, here in the middle of the flyover states, it's hard to get craft beer. We get all the trends last, after they're not trends anymore, and it's no different with craft beers. Meg had written a post about fall beers and one of them she loves is called Pumking. I just had to have some, and not to my surprise, you can't get any around here. So the sweet girl sent me a bottle! I've been holding out on trying it but I'll try it tomorrow. I need to know if I like it because I found other websites that will ship it to me. Can't wait for that!

- Work is sucking right now. Apparently when the kiddies go back to school nobody comes out to eat. And when they do they leave their wallets and their brains at home. Speaking of work, I know that you guys love work stories so every Wednesday I try and blog about some. Come check it out.

It's Friday and I need to back my azz up with Whitney. My favorite song off of Luke's new album is finally on GrooveShark. Thanks to whoever uploaded it. I tried but my iTunes is all fucked up so I couldn't do it. Enjoy. Peace out kids.

Lies the TV Tells Me

I love tv. Just love it. But sometimes it lies. Big massive sloppy lies. That piss me off. So today, for things I don't love, I thought I'd tell you about the lies the tv tells me.

1. ITT Tech is bullshit. The tv says that ITT Tech is a great school and tons of people go there. They say that it will change your whole life. Well guess what? I've never met ANYBODY who's gone to ITT Tech which means it's also never changed the life of somebody I know. So what's the deal ITT Tech? When ya just gonna go away?

2. I saw a commercial for that new Nokia Lumia edition 5846598165. You know the one? With the awesome 41 megapixel- I take great wonderful pictures in the dark-you just have to have me right this second phone? Yeah, I heard that it's not that great. I mean, I was gonna buy this phone just for the camera. Ok, not really but I thought about it. Then the AT&T guys told me that it's really not that good and made fun of me for believing everything I see on tv. Like that commercial. And me being me and not believing anything anybody tells me, I trusted my good friend google to show me some pictures. They didn't look that great. They didn't prove they were any better than my trusty iphone. Lies Nokia, LIES.

Found here.

3. Chef Lorena for Taco Bell makes this great "gourmet, healthyish" food and we should all love it. Bitch please. I don't want Taco Hell to be gourmet or healthy. How bad it really is - is what makes it so great. I don't even need to elaborate on this one. And Taco Bell isn't healthy or gourmet no matter how hard you try Miss Chef Lorena. Sorry.

4. Tampon commercials. Everybody knows that a woman is not that happy go lucky while it's her time. No, it's not all rainbows, puppies, and unicorns. It's get-me-chocolate-and-leave-me-the-hell-alone-or-I'll-bite-your-head-off. We don't do gymnastics, go shopping, or even look slightly not miserable during that week. Quit lying.

Really that's all I've got. Just 4 commercials that are getting on my nerves lately. I'm sure there are more but that's all I could stand to watch. I have a DVR for a reason. I can't remember life without one and I don't want to.

I'm linking up with the craziest of them all. The one who gets her vajay waxed and lived to tell about it. Miss Yoga Pants herself.

Real quick back story before I go.
At OG we used to play old Italian music of course. Well, I guess people started to complain so they changed it up. We now get to listen to modern music. And it's fucking weird. I was hosting last week when we heard the beginning of this song. Well, of course they're not gonna play this song in a family restaurant it was the original jazz version. But it still made me want to get down.

Drink A Beer

Dear Weekend, Thanks for showing up but you can just keep moving on. I work doubles all weekend. Womp Womp. I haven't worked all weekend long in a long while. And Erntefest is this weekend and I don't know if I can go. But I really wanna.

Dear Work, let's make some of that money ok! I need it. Oh, and thanks for acting like I was going to get my vacation check. Yeah, I didn't. I'm pretty irritated about that.

Dear Blog, we're in a rut this week. That's ok. Just gotta get out of it.

Dear Fantasy Football, you and I need to talk. You need to tell me what website to go to so I know what in the hell I'm looking for. I read Sarah's post but still, I need more. It seemed so much easier last year when manfriend was doing it.

Dear Blog Friends, I love you dearly. Sure do. Sorry if stuff around here is stale. It happens. Keep sticking around. I'm sure it'll be over soon.

Dear Luke Bryan, Thanks for the new album. I love it. But let's stick to singing, that rapping business you try is just not you. Leave it to Blake or the rappers. And announce your new tour dates already. I'm waiting mister!

Dear Target, Now that the kiddies are back at school I can shop in peace. I can't wait.

Dear Fall, I'm ready. I know I keep saying this. I only keep saying it because well I just want you to be here faster. Leggings, sweaters, boots, hot cider, pumpkin everything! And the holidays that you bring, the best! Please hurry now. This teasing shit where it's 55 in the morning and then 80 in the afternoon is for the birds.

Dear Pumking Beer, I'm so ready to try you. Thanks to my sweet bloggy friend Megan my dreams will come true!

And of course, it's time to #backthatazz up with Whitsicle!

Since Mr. Bryan decided to drop his album this week, I'll leave you with one of the good ones. If somebody would like to upload their album to grooveshark that would be awesome. I was going to but the itunes on my computer is stupid. It doesn't even have half of the songs I've bought from them in my library on my computer. Anybody know how to fix that?? Do I just need to sync them up again?

On Fridays We Back Our Asses Up

Whadup cupcakes! Happy Friday to you. I'm off today and work all weekend. I need that money though. And Sunday morning Manfriend is leaving me for his work trip. I'm not freaking out. I've always been the one to go somewhere and it's always been in my car. Not a damn airplane! I know he'll have a good time though.

Anyway...let's high 5 some shit.

1. I made a new friend this week. Tuesday my gma took myself, my wife, teagan, one of my little sisters, and Auntie to build a bear. My aunt and Teagan have an obsession with it. It was the first time I've gone. I made a dog. His name is Cooper. He's a cowboy. Love him!

Cooper and his friends

2. I got a banging swap package from Beth for the PJ Party Swap. Girl can hook it the hell up! I was soooo impressed! More about that next week though. I forgot to take pictures. Ooops.

3. If you follow me on the twatter, then you know that I love the show Street Outlaws. If you don't follow me on twitter you should and now you know that I love that show. Monday was the season finale and unfortunately, a really really cool person on the show lost their lives. It was sad and I took to twitter to share my thoughts. And guess what...my tweet got favorited by my favorite person on the show! I was ecstatic to put it nicely. I was smiling from ear to ear and squealing. It was bad.

4. I'm going to be completely alone for a couple days starting on Sunday. It's been 5 days since I've been alone. Blake is going to be out of town and Teagan is at her dad's house for the week. I'm excited but not excited. We'll see how it goes.

5. It's tax free weekend! I'm gonna get some shopping done today. Does anybody know if this applies online too??

And of course...we're gonna #backthatazzup.

Unfortunatley on Wednesday night Tone the Cheif Rocca or B-double O-T-Y the one hit wonder man got voted off the show. I was super sad. All he wanted was a one hit wonder. I think he wrote and sang a perfect song. So twerk it while you're listening to this. Tell me how you think it will be go as a one hit wonder.

A Little Late

I'm a little late to the party. Oops. But not really. My Wife taught me it's better to be late because then people pay attention. Ok, she didn't teach me that but gaww that girl makes us late everywhere. Anyway, I'm getting on a tangent.

Remember that time I went and saw Kenny Chesney in May? Well, I do. Kind of. And I want to do it all over again. It was a lot of fun.

I thought that I'd show you a few after pictures and tell you some stories.

After the concert was over we started to head to our car when I realized that there was good music playing outside. And at this moment I just decided that I was gonna dance. Who cares where we are, who I'm with, of what we're doing. I just wanna dance. That's why I love drunk me. Because she loves after parties. Sober me knows that after parties are just code for a hangover in the am.

If you look close enough, you'll notice that my shoes aren't on my feet. I was tired of them. They hurt so I took them off. I proceeded to tell Kyla that she could sell them if she wanted to. And she almost did. Some old cowboy dude wanted to buy my boots for his lady friend. Weirdo. Luckily, Kyla got smart and didn't sell them.

After the concert we also decided that we just need to tailgate a concert. Seriously. The party going on outside of the Kenny concert was almost bigger than the party going on inside. And none of us have tailgated before. I know, shame. We're just trying to find the perfect concert to do it at though. Kyla suggested Luke's. I suggested that she had a brain disorder. There's no way I'm going to a Luke concert and not getting to see him. Nope.

I also let drunk Chloe have her way and the bitch peed in some bushes outside of a convenient store with no shoes on and other drunk folk everywhere. The line in the bathroom was 54874 people long and I just can't hold it like I used to. Don't ever have kids. So I decided that outside in a bush was best for everyone. It wasn't. I managed to pee all over my jeans. Good thing I didn't care until the next day.

And that's how you party after you party.

I thought that I'd link up with Stephanie yesterday but my internet wasn't working so I'm doing it today!

Button

And in honor of me backing it up after this concert I definitely have to join Whitney for #backthatazzup Friday.
This week's jam is something that I always wanna back my azz up to. Every time I hear it I just have to dance.

Let's High Five and #backthatazzup

We made it to Friday. Woot woot. I work all weekend but managed to give my Saturday morning shift away so I can go to my niece's second birthday! I might find a way to sneak some booze in. That would make me super ultra mega fun and work would be so much better =). Let's high five some shit.

1. Last weekend I had Saturday off and we had a family day. It was nice. We went to eat hibachi, where my crazy kid tried sushi. I was proud of her. That's like I don't even know. Just major! After that we went to the movie theater and played in the arcade for a while. Then we saw Monsters University. I don't really know if it was good because Teagan can't sit still in a movie theater STILL. How long does it take??? After that we went to my Wife's bbq she was hosting to thank everybody for supporting her while she was dealing with cancer. Girl doesn't cook but she did good. I was proud ;). And then it was time for some fireworks! Busy Saturday for sure.

2. I went on a shopping spree yesterday and bought way to much shit but it was so much fun. A girl deserves to go shopping every now and then. And shop we did. I ended up with 3 new pairs of shoes, 3 new dresses, some hair stuffs, and panties. Panty shopping is fun. The only womp womp of the day was that I couldn't find anything on the sale racks. I can always find good sales with cute clothes but not yesterday. Everything I wanted was expensive! All I wanted were maxi dresses and skirts. I was in total fall mode too.

3. I went swimming on Tuesday. And got another sunburn. And it fucking sucks. But Teagan and I had a great time so it was worth it. That's why I took Wednesday off. After a sunburn I just want to sleep and cry. I only go out in the sun every 10 years, I told Blake to enjoy this tan because he won't see me tan for 10 more years.

please ignore how wide my leg looks. It happens when I sit down.

4. Wife and I went to dinner at Olive Garden Wednesday night (yes, even though I work there, it was her birthday) and I had a great drink. Seriously if you're ever at an OG again, try a Strawberry Limoncello Martini. It was great. I got a buzz. A buzz for an expensive ass price though. But it was sooo worth it. And I don't drink sweet sugary drinks but this was good.

5. It's school supply time! I seriously get so excited for this time of year. I can't wait to go to Target and buy a pretty new planner that I won't ever use. And 5254164 notebooks that I don't need. But I can say that they're for Teagan now!

And now...the moment everybody's been waiting for....

Yes, just yes. Now go on, shake ya ass. Just make sure you close the door so your coworkers don't see you getting your freak on. Or don't. Whatever works.

Take Me Back To Yesterday

Once upon a time I was an easily influenced little diva child. Not much has changed. I'm still little and I act like a child. I can even be a diva if I need to. And as a little diva child, I had diva music that I absolutely loved. It made me the little "adult" that I am now. I thought for #backthatazzup Friday I would give you some of my favorite songs during my childhood. And yes, they'll be all pop top 40 songs. I didn't have good taste then or now. Whatever. I have great taste now.

1. Wannabe - Spice Girls
As a kid, this was my jam. I loved the shit out of the Spice Girls. My friends and I would watch the movie and each be a spice girl. Back then I was convinced I was a "good girl" and wanted to be Baby Spice. Now, this songs comes on when I'm drunk and I pull the typical drunk girl "I LOVE THIS SONG. This is MY song!" And I want to be Ginger Spice please and thank you.

2. My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion
By now I'm sure you know of my obbsessiveness over anything Titanic related. If not, well I love this movie and I'd watch it everyday if anybody would let me. When I was little and Titanic came out, I loved it. And since it had a theme song of course I loved it too. I'd lose my shit over this song. Great taste!

3. Bitch - Meredith Brooks
I mean I didn't know exactly what a bitch was at 3 but whatever. I was at my great grandmas' house with my mom and grandma. Somebody called me a human being (or something like that. I don't remember and my mom won't text me back. THANKS MOM.) and I replied, I'm not a human being. My gma asked what I was and I said "I'm a bitch." They loved that. Not. I find it hilarious. I'm proud of myself for knowing these things at a young age.

4. Baby One More Time - Britney
UmmmDuh! Point me in the direction of a girl from 6-13 who didn't love Britney and every song she sang and I'll point you in the direction of a liar. Britney was my best friend. I don't even have words for how I felt about her. Her first cd is burned into my brain for the rest of time. I could make this list much longer but for the sake of not making you read a lot just consider every song of hers on here.

...Baby One More Time by Britney Spears on Grooveshark

Remember when our girl looked like this??

5.It's Gonna Be Me - N*SYNC
Yep, I was an N*SYNC girl. Back Street Boys? pshhh. They had nothing on Justin and his crew. But I wasn't a Justin lover. I was more of a Lance Bass kinda girl. Always and forever. And then there was Justin And Britney together. I died and went to heaven. My two favorites were together and my hope for mankind was at an all time high.

6. Waterfalls - TLC
I was little when this song came out. Like before kindergarten. But I loved it. I don't know why. There's a super embarrassing story about this song but it's so embarrassing I'm not even going to tell you. Just know you'd die. For days.

What were some of your favorite songs? Don't be ashamed, I wanna know!
