It's a Little Late

So I haven't been here all week. Oops. I thought about it all week long but I was tired and my laptop was at Blake's. Where I hadn't been all week. #bloggerfail

I really just hastagged in my blog. What is wrong with me?

Anyway....I saw that Holly was having link up having to do with the kind of girl you are and of course I have to play along - late, like everything I do is.

I'm the kind of girl...

- that doesn't know what kind of girl she is. I always think back to Juno when I hear somebody say "...kind of girl". She told her dad she didn't know what kind of girl she was yet. And it resonated with me. Because I don't know either. After 23 years I don't have this shit figured out.

- that loves a schedule but can't follow one to save my soul. It would make my life so much easier but I just can't get with it.

- that procrastinates way to much. I ALWAYS have good intentions about getting stuff done. It just never works. I always read my emails and plan to reply right back to them - later. And then I never do it. Love me through it please! I promise you'll get a reply soon.

- that loves to go to bed at 9 at nine regardless of what day of the week it is. It's the old lady in me.

- that can't make a decision if my life depended on it. I'm trying to make two major decisions right now and I just can't. I get anxiety and all upset from decision making. Maybe I need a life coach?

- that would rescue all the dogs and cats if I had room. When I go to Petsmart, I have to pet each animal so that they all feel like somebody loves them. I have to. I don't care how long it takes. It gets done. And I always want to bring them all home.

- that can't figure out how to take a decent selfie so I always have to make a stupid face. They look better than my smile. What can I do?

- that loves a freshly made bed. It's the best thing to crawl into at night. I love it!

- who always be a little bit sassy, classy, and smart assy. Even if it drives people insane.

- who will wear her pjs out in public too much and feel guilty about it, but not guilty enough to change my ways.

The One Where I Do A Quiz

Y'all know I love getting mail. But you know what I don't love?? I don't love when my mail gets delivered to some town I've never heard of and I don't know if I'll ever get it back. Especially when it's a package that I've paid for. My ipsy bag is missing this month and I'm quite bummed about it. I checked out my glam room and everything that was coming to me was perfect. Blah. Anyway...I had to get that rant out of the way. You see...ipsy doesn't have a customer care phone number. Nope. The only way to get ahold of them is to email them. And we all know that e-mailing a company is the last resort into fixing a problem. I'm not holding my breath this time. Best believe if it happens again...ipsy and I will be breaking up.

I'm Your Sunshine

Ah man it's Monday. Another snow day too. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of it!

I get the pleasure of working a double today because I picked up a shift tonight. See, it always sounds like a good idea at the time, then the day comes around and I'm like "Ughhhhh, Why did I pick up this shift?!?!". Hopefully it's an easy day and I don't have to be there all night. We'll see.

My weekend was full of work. I guess we did one thing, we watched The Purge. I loved it! I mean, I couldn't get behind the fact that's it's only a little over 8 years away and people are ok with it, but other than that it was great. And we watched Joy Ride because it was on tv and Blake likes to torture me. I was a little sad. Oh, I didn't mention that Paul Walker and I were besties. Ok, not really but I've loved the Fast and the Furious franchise since it came out, so my heart is still sad. I forgot how good it was though!

Anyway...since I've not see anything except for snow and OG for the past 3 days, I thought I'd get around to accepting my Sunshine Award. I was nominated by miss Amanda from Voyage of the MeeMee. She's too sweet. I def need some sunshine right now.

There are supposed to be rules and stuff but I'm not following them. I feel like being a rebel today. =)

I'm supposed to list 11 facts about me, but I feel like I've exhausted everything I can say. So I'm just going to answer the questions she asked.

1. If you could only listen to one song for the rest of you life, what would it be?
Right now it would be "Play it Again" by Luke Bryan. It's a fun song and tells a great story.

2. How many hours a day do you spend doing blog related stuff? (I want to feel "normal" so I'm crossing my fingers that it's a lot.)
It just depends. Daily, at least an hour and a half. But if I don't have anything to do and I don't mind staring at my laptop, than it could be anywhere from 3 to 5. That's way too much time. Shhh. Don't tell.

3. If you could have any super hero power, what would it be?
I'm really nosy, so I'd love to hear people's thoughts Sookie Stackhouse style. I want to know how you really feel about me!

4. Are you a morning person, afternoon person, or night person?
I'm a mid-morning, early afternoon person. I get the most done between 1030 and 1.

5. How much wood would a wood chuck chuck... screw it, you get a free pass here. Bonus points if you can actually say it without googling it.

6. What is your current favorite TV show? (If you say you don't like TV, I'mma slap you and never read your blog again.)
I don't wanna pick. I love Sons of Anarchy. And tomorrow is the season finale and I'm sad. Street Outlaws on Discovery channel is super awesome. Not a lot of people watch that channel but they have some really awesome tv shows. It's about some street racers from OKC. I told you that I loved Fast and the Furious, and it's because I really like street racing. The Walking Dead and True Blood also make this list. I watch too much tv.

7. Are you left handed or right handed?
I'm a lefty by default. I didn't have an option. My momma and daddy are both lefties.

8. What is your favorite smell?
When I use the original scent Tide and originial scent Bounce sheets and pull stuff from the dryer. It's a little specific. What can I say. But I really like anything foodie too.

9. Do you ever talk to yourself?
Do people not do this?

10. What is your favorite quote?
Your mom. Not really, but I don't get into the whole quote thing too often. 

11.Who/what makes you smile like no one/nothing else can?
Blake and Teagan. The dogs. My hoodie. Christmas. I'm really not hard to make smile.

Oh look, it's Friday. Womp womp. I work all weekend and most of the time I host so I won't get as much $$ as I want. I had to be at work at 9 yesterday, 10 today, and 8 tomorrow. In the morning. All three of those days. I picked to not work at places that serve breakfast because I don't want to get up early. And look at this. Let's skip to next week please!

1. What artist/song/album do you have on repeat right now?

This is always hard for me.  I have a couple of songs that I'm in love with right now.

2. If you could see one artist/band perform before you die, who would it be?

Hands down Britney Spears. I will see her before I die. I've been a Britney fan since day 1. I'll probably cry when the day comes. I mean, I was gonna say Luke Bryan but I've seen him. And almost every other country music artist I love this year so she seemed like the best pick!

3. What is one thing you have worked towards this year? Would you say it was a success?
Wow, shit's about to get real. I worked at the beginning of the year to lose weight and get in better shape. Unfortunately, I didn't keep it up, I didn't eat better or even go to the gym often. It wasn't a success and I'm not very proud of myself for it. My body is a huge self esteem thing. I've posted about it before but I've never actually said everything I needed to say. Maybe someday.

4. If you could go back in time, which age would you want to repeat? Why?
I'd like to be 13 again. Even though it's a terrible age, there are things, a lot of things, I would do differently. I made some shitty choices, dated some shitty people, and was a shitty person all around. I would go back and not date the shitty people, and be less shitty to my mom. But my ass wouldn't go back to jr. high. Thanks but no thanks.

5. If money weren't an issue, would you live somewhere else? Where?

In my crazy fantasy world I'd like to move to Dallas or Nashville. I love Dallas even though I haven't seen that much of it. Nashville is the home of country music so yeah...duh.
Sometimes Blake and I talk about moving to Tulsa. It's only tow hours away. Or Springfield, it's only an hour away. I don't think it would happen but who really knows!

Being Chloe

I was reading Steph's blog yesterday and found out that there is a link up going on about names. Now that's new and original. So of course I have to play along.

Chloe...I like my name. I think it fits me perfectly. My name used to be unique and in school I was the only Chloe for like all 13 years. Even in my college classes there weren't other people named Chloe. So ha! However, today it's all the effing rage. And that rages me. You can walk in to any 2nd grade class and I'll bet that you have one or two Chloes. But it was my name first so I win.

My mom named me Chloe because she told my grandma that she wanted to name me Zoe and my gma said no. So as a joke she said how about Chloe. They loved it and that was that. My dad wanted to name me Jennifer. I'm glad he didn't get to choose that. Sorry to any Jennifers out there. No offense, but it's just not me.

If you go to Urban Dictionary and look up Chloe, the third entry is totally me. Chloe means all sorts of different stuff depending on what site your looking up. But the most common I've seen is that it has something to do with green foliage or shoot of plants. I hate plants.

Nicknames haven't always been the best though. There's always those mean people in school who have to change everybody's name to something gross or mean. Unfortunately I got stuck with hoey or blowy. True story. My mom and I were talking and she was like I liked it because I couldn't find any mean words that rhyme with it. She didn't try very hard. However, now that I'm out of school people don't call me that anymore. Most people call me clover. My dad sometimes calls me Cloveee. A guy I work with calls me Chloe Kardashian and I love it. No shame. A couple people have called me cholo. You know...like a hispanic gangster. I have a song about me. =)

 And let's talk about the mispronunciations. Dear god  I wonder if people can't read or sound out words sometimes. Here's a nice little list of everything people could possibly mispronounce.

5 Things

Who doesn't love a good ol' get to know me post? I know I do. So I thought I'd share 5 things about me with you today.

But first I have to tell you that I think my phone hates me. See, on Friday, it took a little a little tumble out of my hands and met the pavement face first. Womp womp. Did I mention that I was still sober when this happened. I felt like an idiot. I hardly ever drop my phone so yeah, she's mad at me. I dropped her face first and didn't really wanna pick her up. But I just had to know. Fortunately for me, there wasn't even a scratch. I thought that all was good. Until Monday. Now she's freaking out on me. I think she might have internal bleeding. Whenever I go to check my emails any new email I open will be replace with my confirmation of joined Luke Bryan's fan club from a year ago. Weird. And some of my texts come in as unreadable and there's nothing that will make it work. Oops. So pray for my phone. Because she can't die an early death. She has to wait until May. When I get the newer gold version of her.

You'll find in my purse

- A billfold with $3. I feel sorry for anybody who tries to rob me.

- The cuffs to my hoodie, because I need them at all times ya know.

- A calculator I've had since 7th grade with mascara all over it. It still works.

- Receipts all crumpled up from too many fast food joints. Majority of them being taco bell.

- A charger to my phone. Don't pretend you don't do the same thing. 

You'll find on my DVR

- Sons of Anarchy. I wasn't a fan of the beginning of the season but shit has gotten intense.

- Eric and Jessie, Game On. I knew I needed to watch this when I found out how good looking Eric Decker is. And he's on my fantasy team so I had to support him. 

- Big Tips Texas. I love shoes about girls who work at bars. And pretty much any train wreck reality show on MTV.

- Nashville. I love me some country music so of course it's on my DVR. And Scarlett...I love that girl.

- Two Broke Girls. I love this show. It's my jam. I wish I could say half the shit Max says to her customers to mine. Waitresses and cupcakes...right up my alley. 

You'll find in my bedroom

- Piles of dirty clothes. And I mean piles.

- A Halloween candy bucket that I stole from my daughter last year. I can't just let her have all that candy at one time. Plus I was eating on it too. 

- A pile of clothes behind my door that don't fit Teagan. If I put them in bags she goes through them and says why are you getting rid of this and then puts it in her drawer. Little shit. 

- A Marilyn Monroe picture that's effing huge. I need to hang it but I need help and nobody wants to help. 

- My favorite place in the whole world...my bed. =)

I'm currently in love with

- Sweaters. Fall is here in the morning and I love it. I can throw on a sweater and my leggings and stay warm.

- Pizza. I'm on a serious pizza kick right now and it's all I want to eat. Yummm.

- Pumpkin anything. Again, it's fall. I bought some pretty candles and they smell sooo good.

- Halloween. It's one of my favorites. I love dressing up and being scared. 

- Daryl Dixon. He comes back on Sunday and I'm ready! I was watching some of the marathon and I was so excited when he was on screen. I'm ready!

If that doesn't give you some in sight to my world I don't know what would. Love you bunches cupcakes! One more day till Friday!

Hello Monday. We meet again. I'm ready for you to be over because my weekend starts tomorrow. I'm more than ready. Let's do this.

1. What is your go to drink at the bar?

Definitely a Long Island. I love them. That or a beer. I love margs too but the bar around here isn't too great at making them. And besides, Long Islands get right to the point.

2. What are you planning to be for Halloween?

I was going to be a can of red bull. Yes, I'm serious. And Blake was going to be a bottle of Jager. Get it? Jager bomb. A perfect couple's costume. Corny and lame but funny. He loves Jager, to the point that he has a tattoo of it. That's a story for another time. I love red bull. But, we decided that instead of going to our friend's Halloween party we're going to Springfield to go to a pubb crawl. I'm super pumped. So I'm pulling out the same costume from last year. Was that the longest answer possible to this question? I think so.

I was her groom. Next year, there will be no stockings. They didn't stay!

3. If you could bang one TV character, who would it be?

I only get to pick one. Fuuuuuck. That's my answer to most things when I don't know or can't decide. I must say I have to pick Jax Teller. Although a close second is Daryl Dixon. Yummm.

I gotta thing for dirty boys. Can ya tell?? 

4. Which blogger in blogland do you feel is your long lost sister?

Another hard question. I have so many girls I feel could be my long lost sister. But I must pick only one. And since this girl shares my rare birthday, it's definitely Jordan from Musings of a Twenty-Something. I love that girl to death. And I can't wait until we get to meet each other. It better be soon. We'll have so much fun!!!

5. What is the best thing in your opinion about being a blogger?

Definitely all the free stuff. Kidding, I'm kidding. I don't get free stuff. But for cereal, it's making such great friends. There are so many people that I plan on meeting. And I just love that there's somebody else out there who gets me. Blogger friends are better than most in real life friends. I'm so glad I was forced to start a blog and I continued it, because I wouldn't know any of you without it!

Side story time...In the elementary school I went to, they always had 100 day. It was always the 100th day of school. The teachers always made us do something to commemorate the 100th day of school. Some kids glued 100 buttons to poster board, others did marshmallows, well, my daddy and I glued 100 different pictures of Leo to my poster board. Yep. And he never even stuttered a word about how a third grader shouldn't do that. He supported it! 

Just like this, but way cooler. 

Anyway...told you side story. Of course today I'm going to accept my awards from the fabulous ladies above!

Bradley Cooper hands down. Channing is nice to look at but his head is weird shaped.

4. If we were stranded on an island, what are three things that we'd most definitely need?

Seriously, this isn't fair. Ummm

- toilet paper, yes

- a camera that would never die because someday somebody would find out we were stranded and they would want to see what we did. Maybe.

Have fun. Seriously. Don't take it so seriously. That's when you make the best friends.

A beach and as many concerts as I can afford.

So I'm linking up with the most hilarious and fabulous blogger Whitney today to bring you some facts about me. We all like to know everything about each other so here we go!


Here's what you would learn about me

I'm the world's worst car buyer. Seriously, every car I've ever bought has been a huge piece of shit.

I like my dog more than I like most people.

If it's up to me to buy soda, I will always buy cans. I hate bottles, that shit goes flat to quick.

My hair isn't exactly red in color anymore, but I still have the fiery temper/personality to go with it. That's why I dye it red. Well, and because I like it too.

I like my kid, but I'm not a huge fan of other people's. I don't know why. Children just aren't my jam. Unless they're under the age of one. Then I LOVE them. Bring me a 7 year old and I'll cut you.

I won't go in water unless it's warm. I'm a big baby and I hate cold water. What's the point?

I love sleep. I just can't find the perfect amount for me. I either get too much or not enough.

I've never been sure of what I want to be when I grow up. I still don't know. College isn't helping me any.

I'm a self-proclaimed hot mess. I'm messy, unorganized, and hardly ever have everything I need when I go some place. Practicing but it's not working out well.

Because there are already 200 and something link ups, I bet the only way you'll see this is if you follow me!

I want to be skinny and I workout but I can't change my diet. I hate healthy food. HATE it. I want some pasta and hot cheetos and redbull all day.

Scary Scary

Remember when I told you I hated fb but that I would never ever leave because it has a death grip on my heart? Well, this little blog of mine now has a fb page. It's not all pretty yet, but we're getting there. There's a little social media icon over there...click on it and like it...no options. Just do it.

And now for some real business. I have nothing to write about. De nada. And then I realized I have a billion projects started and dammit I could finish one. So let's get to know me.

I was going to update my 22 before 22 but I just re-read it and it's dumb. I don't like it. What a difference 9 months and becoming a better blogger makes. So none of that. And I'm not making a new one because I turn 22 in 36 days. Yes, I'm keeping count. More on my birthday later. We've got 36 days to talk about it!

I know that most of you weren't my cupcakes when I posted this. Did you catch up? Good...The second thing on that list is to 3 legitimate fears and how they became fears.

Number one biggest fear in the history of fears are frogs. I'm terrified. Legitimately can't breath/panic attack/ kind of fear when I see one of those fuckers. I hate them. This fear stems from my mom. She's always been terrified of them because when she was little one jumped on her face and clung to her. Ugh. Can you imagine. It was scared she was scared...fuck that. Boyfriend lives out in bfe and has a pond in his back yard. They love to come around in the summer. When they're on the sidewalks I stand completely still and don't breathe. I figure out how to get the fuck around it without that bitch moving. Most of the time I walk 200 feet out of my way and then I'm on frog look out all night. We had one in our basement one time when I was in junior high, it was camping out in front of our dryer. Mom and I both needed in there but couldn't do it. I had to call a friend who lived down the road to come get it for us.

My second biggest fear...flying. UGH. I've never been on an airplane before. Ever. And if I didn't want to travel and go places, then I wouldn't ever care. I'm terrified of them crashing. Like wtf, they say you're less likely to die in a plane crash than a car accident but fuck it seems like every day they're talking about how this plane went down and la-de-fucking-da. Terrifying. I can guarantee that before I fly, I will indulge in a couple of xanax, as much liquor/beer/alcohol I can get into me without feeling terrible.

And third...I'm afraid of people. Not just any type of people but people who might be planning to do something bad. I know that sounds weird. I've grown up in the generation of shootings. Schools, malls, movie theaters, etc. Shit freaks me out. That's part of the airplane fear too. That somebody is going to hijack it and kill us. I have a vivid imagination and this is all part of it. So I guess it's not a fear of people, just a fear that somebody is going to kill everyone. Most of my fears resolve around this.

There ya have it cupcakes, I'm a freak. I would be scared out of my mind if I was on an airplane with a frog and somebody started shooting.

I Don't Know What Cha Heard About Me

I don't have shit to talk about. How unreal right? I have a dozen posts drafted but they are planned for after Christmas. So, yeah. Here's 10 fun facts about yours truly!

One - I love boobs. My boobs, your boobs, her boobs...-but not his boobs. Seriously though. I love them. When I get drunk I like to ask to see boobs. I annoy people to the point that they flash me and then I'm happy. lol. Some people are willing though. So now you know, if I was a guy I would be a tit guy. Yep.

Two - I hate foods that have a weird texture. Mainly fruits and veggies. They make me gag and throw up. It's terrible I know. The worst texture is a fucking banana. UGH. I hate them. The smell, the texture, the taste, just ugh.

Three - I like to smell things. Especially paper. Books, mail, etc. Love it. It's weird. At night you're likely to see me with my hoodie up to my face, I'm probably smelling it. I'm weird. I can't help it.

Four - I have a huge fear of the dentist. I hate going. The smell of the place gives me the chills. I haven't been since I don't know when. Someday I will have to have dentures I'm sure. I know I need to go see the dentist soon but I won't go unless it's a dentist who practices sedation dentistry.

Five - I like to be naked. Whenever I can. (sorry dad) I'm sure my neighbors have all seen my ass because I'll run out to my car in a long shirt with no panties/pants. I've gone with nothing wrapped in a blanket. I have no modesty. I don't care if people see my ladies bits, I just don't want them to see my chubby belly. I used to really think about visiting a nudist colony. Then I decided I may not have an issue being naked, but I don't think I want to see everyone naked.

Six - I've swallowed more lip rings and the end of tongue rings that I lost count and forgot. I don't even know what the number used to be. True story.

Seven - I enjoy throwing/giving stuff away. It's like a cleansing thing for me. I just don't do it often. Kind of an oxymoron (haha, remember when "oxymoron" was a cool thing? Or is it just me?) I don't do it because I'm lazy but while I sit on the couch and watch mindless tv, I think about it and really really want to.

Eight - I'm super sensitive. I know I come off as kind of a bitch most of the time, or at least I think I do. But people really do get to me all the time! It's quite irritating and that's why I use my sassy attitude a lot. Because people just don't fuck with me. (At least that's how I feel in my head. Could be totally different in real life)

Nine - I love lists. It's the fastest way to get my attention. Love to look at them, read them, and make them. Reading them is my favorite. Short, long, detailed, grocery...any of them.

Ten - I like to pretend I'm from the south. lol. I love southern etiquette and the way they do things. Living seems the most important to people in the south. And they have great accents! I was born in the wrong part of the country. I've never told anybody that before.

Hello lovelies! I hope you all had a fantabulous weekend and did lots of exciting things! I know I sure as hell didn't. I worked. Like always! 11 Things About Me

 OK, this is going to be really hard because I think I just had a post with things about me. Let's see what I can come up with now.

- I have 4 tattoos with plans on getting at least 1 more

- I have my lip and tongue pierced. I used to have my bellybutton done but from the first day to the next year                   it seemed to be infected. So I took it out. 

- I love animals. Love love love. I would own them all if I could.

- I love babies too. They're so super sweet and cuddly and when they make a drug that makes them stay babies I will have more. Until then my uterus is closed for business.

- If I go to long without drinking some water I get really cranky and my body acts weird. Weird right?

- Snuggling into a made bed is one of my favorite things ever. Unfortunately for me, my bed is hidden underneath all kinda shiz right now. 

- My bedroom can be messy but small places such as under the bed, the glove compartment in my car....and such have to be clean.

- My nails and hair grow super super fast. I hate it. It's a lot of upkeep and money for my hair.

- I support Taco Bell. I mean, I'm the reason the one in my hometown is open. 

- Procrastination is my best friend. 

- I love blankets. I have way too many and can't seem to throw any away.

- This list was hard. Blah.

8. What is your dream job? What do you really do? Goodness, I did a post on my dream job...and said I wanted to be a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader, but maybe besides that I'd be an event or wedding planner. I'm not real sure. Right now I'm a host at Olive Garden.

Here's my weekend update for you guys.

We had a meeting at work Saturday morning and we got to sample our new wines.

Yep sampling wines at 8 in the morning. Buttt... I had more than a sample. We kept

convincing the gret server serving us our wine we needed more. I was buzzed by the time it was over.

 

 

My new shoes! Remember how I wanted leopard flats...well I got some. They aren't really

the traditional leopard colors but I love them! Now I need to find a shirt to go with.

Soooo pretty!

Also on my intstagram I'm doing 31 days of pink. I'm wearing something pink everyday for October

for breast cancer awareness. I won't show you all my pictures but this is one of my favorites.

 

 

I don't do my hair very often but I decided I would that day. I had a side part low ponytail with

a flower. It was a hit with everybody at work so I'm gonna try some more. =)

So anyway... We have some new followers over here and I'm excited that so many people want to read my ramblings. I thought that I'd do some more about me. I found a 30-Day about me list I wanted to do over at Sami's Shenanigans and she had gotten it from here. I was going to post the whole list but I thought I'd keep it a surprise. I won't be doing things from it everyday throughout the month but eventually we'll cover all 30 topics! lol. Number one is to list 20 Random facts about myself. Legggooo....

 

1. I love the color pink.

 

2. I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up. None.

 

3. I'm majoring in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources.

My minor is Paralegal Studies.

 

4. I watch toooo much t.v. It's my weakness.

 

5. I make these bad ass enchiladas that I could eat EVERYDAY.

 

6. I love weddings. I follow some bloggers who are getting married and I live vicariously

through them. I watch all kind of wedding shows. Everything weddings =)

 

7. I cry easily. Happy, sad, mad, excited, think something is awesome, surprised...everything. lol.

 

8. I like stuff until it's trendy. And then I'm like yeah...whatever.

 

9. I am the oldest and the only child. I have two younger sisters. I didn't live with them growing up so at mom's house I was the only. At dad's house I was the oldest. =)

 

10. Although I could eat said enchiladas everyday...My favorite foods are pasta (especially mac and cheese) and breakfast burritos. Mmm mmm good.

 

11. I think religions are interesting and I enjoy learning about them.

 

12. I'm messy. And very disorganized.
