Who doesn't love a good ol' get to know me post? I know I do. So I thought I'd share 5 things about me with you today.

But first I have to tell you that I think my phone hates me. See, on Friday, it took a little a little tumble out of my hands and met the pavement face first. Womp womp. Did I mention that I was still sober when this happened. I felt like an idiot. I hardly ever drop my phone so yeah, she's mad at me. I dropped her face first and didn't really wanna pick her up. But I just had to know. Fortunately for me, there wasn't even a scratch. I thought that all was good. Until Monday. Now she's freaking out on me. I think she might have internal bleeding. Whenever I go to check my emails any new email I open will be replace with my confirmation of joined Luke Bryan's fan club from a year ago. Weird. And some of my texts come in as unreadable and there's nothing that will make it work. Oops. So pray for my phone. Because she can't die an early death. She has to wait until May. When I get the newer gold version of her.

5 Things...

You'll find in my purse

- A billfold with $3. I feel sorry for anybody who tries to rob me.

- The cuffs to my hoodie, because I need them at all times ya know.

- A calculator I've had since 7th grade with mascara all over it. It still works.

- Receipts all crumpled up from too many fast food joints. Majority of them being taco bell.

- A charger to my phone. Don't pretend you don't do the same thing. 

You'll find on my DVR

- Sons of Anarchy. I wasn't a fan of the beginning of the season but shit has gotten intense.

- Eric and Jessie, Game On. I knew I needed to watch this when I found out how good looking Eric Decker is. And he's on my fantasy team so I had to support him. 

- Big Tips Texas. I love shoes about girls who work at bars. And pretty much any train wreck reality show on MTV.

- Nashville. I love me some country music so of course it's on my DVR. And Scarlett...I love that girl.

- Two Broke Girls. I love this show. It's my jam. I wish I could say half the shit Max says to her customers to mine. Waitresses and cupcakes...right up my alley. 

You'll find in my bedroom

- Piles of dirty clothes. And I mean piles.

- A Halloween candy bucket that I stole from my daughter last year. I can't just let her have all that candy at one time. Plus I was eating on it too. 

- A pile of clothes behind my door that don't fit Teagan. If I put them in bags she goes through them and says why are you getting rid of this and then puts it in her drawer. Little shit. 

- A Marilyn Monroe picture that's effing huge. I need to hang it but I need help and nobody wants to help. 

- My favorite place in the whole world...my bed. =)

I'm currently in love with

- Sweaters. Fall is here in the morning and I love it. I can throw on a sweater and my leggings and stay warm.

- Pizza. I'm on a serious pizza kick right now and it's all I want to eat. Yummm.

- Pumpkin anything. Again, it's fall. I bought some pretty candles and they smell sooo good.

- Halloween. It's one of my favorites. I love dressing up and being scared. 

- Daryl Dixon. He comes back on Sunday and I'm ready! I was watching some of the marathon and I was so excited when he was on screen. I'm ready!

If that doesn't give you some in sight to my world I don't know what would. Love you bunches cupcakes! One more day till Friday!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Hump Day! Halfway through the week for you guys. Unfortunately, not so much for me. I had my two days off Monday and Tuesday and I work doubles all weekend long. Yay for money though!

Since I haven't done this in a while I thought I'd share with you some of my current obsessions for What I'm Loving Wednesday. Let's get this party started shall we.


1. Eric Church's song Sinners Like Me. I was reading somebody's blog and they talked about how this song was the dad and daughter dance at her sister's wedding. Well, I then decided that I had to listen to it. And now I love it. P.S. if you're the person I was reading, let me know so that I can pay major props to you.

2. NYX Roll on Glitter. For one, it's glitter. For two, it's glitter. And in case I didn't mention, it's glitter =). I found this stuff while I was shopping with my favorite hostess Danielle. We were at PacSun (her choice, not mine) and I about died. It's soooo pretty. I almost bought a gold and a pink to make my own rose gold but up at the front they had a salmon color, and damn is it not the perfect rose gold!

3.  Maxi Skirts. What can I say? I love me maxi skirts. They're perfect for any occasion and you can dress them up or down. The one I have is long enough to be a dress if I really wanted it to be. Where can I find some more? Anybody have any good deals on them?? Let a girl know.

This one in particular is at Target and I'm gonna go find it after I get off work. 

4. Summer Dresses. I could have grouped this with maxi skirts but I didn't wanna. Again, you can dress them up or down, get them long or short, and if you have a long one you don't have to shave. That's a major score in my book. I hate to shave. True story. I just got a short one from my mama so now it's time for a long one. 

What do you think? Maxi dresses are so much harder to find then skirts. 

5. Pizza. I'm seriously loving the shit out of some pizza right now. It's all I ever want to eat. Mazzios is my go to joint but there's only one in Joplin. So it's Pizza Hut when I'm in Carthage. But our Mazzios has the best ranch dressing to ever grace my taste buds. I LOVE it. They have the best thin crust in all the land too. 

6. My Fatboy. Since we got the puppy he's avoided our room like the plague. I've missed having him to cuddle with. This morning we put Olivia out in the fence with Sadie and Fatboy came running in here like it was nobody's business. He misses us, we miss him. He has what we call a sittin' chair. Blake bought a new computer chair because his was kinda sad looking. Well, Fatboy took it over and every night he would come in as soon as I got home and sit in his sittin' chair. If I sat in it, he would stand on the end table and as soon as I got up he would sit in it. I loves him so much. 

Friday Favs!

Happy Friday! I hope y'all have wonderful weekends and all that good stuff. I know that I plan on relaxing and working. And that's it!

I talked a little yesterday about how I was feeling lost. Not really sad, just lost. Well, I felt a lot better after I blogged. I guess that's just what my life was missing. I still feel a little weird but blogging brought back some of my happiness. So thank you all so much for being here to read some of my thoughts.

1. Baby Lips - Peach Kiss

I wasn't interested in getting one of these. However, I was sent one in a swap and of course I had to use it. Now I LOVE it. And the peach is my fav because of the color. I'm trying to find a good nude color and so far I like this one. 

2. Rose Gold Eyeshadow

I adore this shade right now. I've bought 10 eyeshadows in the past week just trying to find the perfect shade. Yes, 10. I have a problem. I can't help it. Ok, maybe I can but I don't wanna. When I pick an eyeshadow color I cling on to it for as long as I can. And then I find a new one. Last time it was a silver/black/grey smoky eye. Now I have no urge for that and I have a billion of those shades. 

3. Puppies

I'm currently on a puppy high from last weekend. Yes, I did do something last weekend and I will tell you all about it next week since I failed and didn't say anything this week. Look at those nuggets. How can you not love them? My dad is fostering them and their 6 brothers/sisters and momma. 

4. Song Pop 

Seriously, have you played this?? If not, you should. It's fun and brings out my super competitive side. You select the category of songs you want and you can always buy more categories (and unlike other apps/games you don't have to use your real hard earned money!). They have anything from pop to workout to 1920's-50's pop. ANYTHING. My username is clovermarie. If you want my e-mail instead, just comment and I'll let you get it. Come play with me!

5. Thunder Storms

We've had some rain here lately. And by some I mean a lot. I don't like just rain. I feel that if it's gonna rain it needs to thunder and lightning and down pour. True story. And today it is. Happiness. I almost prefer grey skies over the sun some days.

Exciting News and A Giveaway!

Here lately, life has been kinda blah. Like seriously. It's been snowy/icy since last Thursday. Boo.

See what I mean. It's this way all across Missouri.

This is Jefferson City (the capitol) And that building way in the back is the capitol building. I've been there once. It was a few years ago. We were on our way to Columbia for a concert (de javu?) and we stopped. We participated in bathroom pictures of course. Who wouldn't want to take duckfaced bathroom pictures in the capitol building of their state?? 

So yeah, it's been a bore to be here. I've had extra good company though...you know my computer and my phone. Lawd thank you for the internet. Well, today as I was buying more concert tickets, I checked in to my blog and what to my wondering eyes did I see...well this!

100 followers! You guys are awesome. Seriously I'm so happy right now. I love all of you and thank you for helping this blog grow. I appreciate all your comments more than any of you know. And all my bloggy friends I've made, well, they are amazing too. It's such a surreal thing to have people from far and wide become really good friends. It's just so amazing. Thank y'all so much!

The Walking Pins

One more day! One more day! Yep, my birthday is tomorrow. Still accepting gifts =). But since it's Wednesday that means it's not my birthday but Pinterest day. Woot woot.

We'll get to the pins in a sec. I need to talk to you about my new current obsession. You might have heard of it. It's called The Walking Dead.

I AM IN LOVE. Not kidding. Yes, I used to be the person that always said they weren't going to watch it. I refused and I hated on it. Now I take it back. See, Sunday boyfriend's dish receiver wasn't working and we had watched all the movies on his laptop so I picked out something to watch. I bought the first season for him on Black Friday fully intending to never watch it. Well I put it in planning on going to bed but that first season sucked me in. And now I'm addicted.

I can't decide if I'd rather marry Rick or Daryl. I love them both. And I would love to punch Shane in the face. We started the second season and thank goodness he cut off that god awful head of hair he had going on. So here we go with some Walking Dead inspired pins!

Sexy Sexy

I've noticed this little blog growing and I want to say hey to all the new faces! I know that most of you have come from the fabulous Mandy's giveaway and I know how much you have to contemplate following a blogger to win a giveaway. This weekend I worked. I took Sunday off though. I spent it with mi familia. Well, mainly the boy and the mini. We had a family movie day. And it was wonderful. We watched 50 First Dates, Rock of Ages, and my very very favorite, Titanic. Yeah, it's not a kid's movie but he picked it out. Boyfriend had never seen it and surprised me by downloading it. I ask if we can watch 50 First Dates, look down at my phone and look up because I heard that music...the Titanic music. It's so familiar because well, I've watched it A LOT. It was such a sweet surprise and it made me feel super good. I love surprises! Okay, I know I just got gushy on you and I'm kinda sorry. I just love that man!

Titanic got me started thinking about all my famous husbands crushes. Because hello, have you seen Leo?? HAWTTTT. So today I'm going to go all fan girl and show you my favorite Hollywood boys!

Santa Baby

Dear Santa Baby,

All I want for Christmas is you....and this other stuff to. Since I've been good all year, maybe you can talk somebody into buying it for me!

This is my first collage ever...I just discovered all the fun features of picmonkey! Can't wait to do more.

Ok, this is my casual wish list. Things that I could possibly get. 

1. Uggs - yep, I don't even care if they aren't in style anymore. I love them. And I want the tall ones in grey, black, and the color shown. =)

2. Naked by Urban Decay - I won't pay this much for makeup but I really want this one. The colors are super pretty. 

3. This bedding by Jennifer Lopez made for her Kohl's collection. I'm not normally a purple fan but this is beautiful! I want the pillows too. The whole set would look great with me in it! I'd pick a favorite but it's hard between the shimmery comforter and the awesome decorative pillows!

4. VS Yogas - I haven't owned a pair of yogas yet. Terror terror I know! I'm hoping maybe these show up under my tree! I'm a slave to comfort and it looks like these are right up my alley. 

And this wishlist is for when we win the lottery someday! 

1. A new car - A camaro would be nice...but I'll take anything other than what I have right now!

2. A trip to Vegas - It just sounds like a bunch of fun. Day drinking and swimming with no worries. Count me in.

3. A cruise - Someday I will take one of these. 

4. The new iPad - I do have a regular iPad that I adore. However, what girl wouldn't want a new one, plus I could give my old one to my mom. haha. I love mine though. I'll keep it =)

5. A big girl camera - I might need some classes to go with it. I love pictures and taking pictures and with a nice camera it would be even better. I'd even take the one on the TSwift commercial right now. That would fit in my purse!

That's just my "If we were rich list" The other list is just enough for me! I love everything on it.

My First Friday Favs!

I really was going to write a post today. But I just feel like I"m pressed for time. I hate being pressed for time. I work a double today...to make up for the double I worked yesterday but my morning shift was a hole hour and fucking half long. I was peeved. I drove 20 minutes to get some extra hours and all I get was a damn hour and a half shift and another double today. I took a THREE HOUR break before they let me come back on yesterday. Well that shit's not gonna fly today kids. I'll be straight up with them. No way, no how. Anyway.... Here we go



Favorite Day Saturday takes the win this week. I'm off tomorrow and I have a Mary Kay cocktail party and a birthday party to attend. Boooyah! Except I have so much homework to get done I might not get to go. =(

Redbull. Hands down. Like I need to lay off the stuff because I've been drinking so much of it lately.

I go through spurts. And they're always on sale. Who can resist a good sale??
