Love/Hate Relationships

I was sitting in class today (all decked out in real clothes for the first time in all of January, this doesn't really matter just wanted you to know I got dressed in jeans!) thinking about how much I love it but hate it. And that's when I thought of more shit that I have a love-hate relationship. And thought I should tell you guys about it.

The following have no specific order except the first one. It's my favorite thing to love and hate.

1. Food. Who doesn't have a love/hate relationship with this? I love how good the bad stuff taste and hate how bad the good stuff tastes. I love the idea of eating heathily, but I hate actually doing it. Junk and restaurants hate me love meee and I love them.

Diet comfort food? I think not.

2. School. I love to learn. It's my favorite thing to do. So going to school makes sense. That's the part I hate, going to school. Blahhhhh. I'm so tired of it. But when I get a good class that keeps my attention I just soak it in.

3. My nails. Gah. These bitches grow super fast. But they are pretty. But it does suck that I have to get to the nail salon every three weeks if I want to keep them looking pretty. Who has the money for that? Not me.

4. My hair. When it's good it's good, but when it's bad, it's really really bad. When it curls perfect I get so excited. And then the other half of my head looks terrible. How come it just can't look good all over?

5. Cake. Cake is delicious. The actual cake part. Icing, not so much. It's icky. Way to sweet. That's why I love cupcakes!

6. My Phone. I love having knowledge right at my fingertips but sometimes I feel like a loser with how much I depend on it. Andddd having people always able to get ahold of you sucksssssss. I just want to be left alone sometimes and that's when people love to call and text.

7. Etsy. Sweet sweet Etsy shops. How I love you and your beautiful creations so. But then if you want to search for something you get 8093309 results and it's so hard to pick from all of them. But I go back to torture myself.

8. Facebook. This one explains itself. I think everybody feels it. I love being nosy and looking at people's whiny/bitch statuses. But I'm sick and tired of "inspirational" quotes, pictures, and like this or you hate your mom/you're going to hell etc. It's such a time suck too. I want to see what's on people's minds and then I end up on their grandma's friend's cousin's page.

I could go on and on. But I wanna know what you have a love/hate relationship with!

Let Me Tell You A Story

Yep, I'm gonna tell you guys a fun little story. One that tells why I'm tired of facebook, even though I won't delete mine.

It all started on what was technically New Year's Day. Boyfriend and I left our party t 12:30 because we're lame and old awesome like that. We get home and I grab my laptop play on fb or awhile and go to bed. See, while I'm on fb I'm editing my "about me" ya know...because I don't work at Pizza Hut anymore and I just think people care I should make it known that I'm now at Olive Garden. So I did that, whatever. And I decided to list my wife as family as my wife. I put my laptop down and go to bed.

ZZZZZZzzzzzzz....I slept good too.

I come home New Year's Day morning and walk in the door and of course tell my momma Happy New Year. That's when shit got crazy. She looked at me said Happy New Year and Congratulations. I give her a wtf look and say what. She repeats "Congratulations!" I said..."for making it to 2013? Thanks, I didn't think I could do it either but here we are." That woman looks me straight in the eye and says no...you got engaged!!! I got WHAT???? According to fb somehow boyfriend and I had now gotten engaged. Not once did I ever change our relationship status. I didn't even touch it. Now isn't that odd??

I started off the New Year explaining to people that no, we aren't engaged fb just has a mind of it's own. People were already congratulating me and I'm just in shock...Had to fix that immediately.

And besides...fb won't be the first people I tell...it will be you guys of course!

That's my funny story for the year. Yeppers.

Have you guys noticed my wonderful new page! I simply adore it. Whitney from WhitSpeaks did it and she did an awesome job. She got me down to a t! It was such a simple process and she was so sweet. I didn't even know what I wanted but she got the job done. I still need to send her a pic and a blurb for my about me on the home page but I suck at writing those. Anybody wanna do it for me? I'll let you! There will be more pages to come such as an about me and sponsor page maybe??? We'll see! But definitely an about me.

Thankful

Happy Saturday! I get the pleasure of being off today and figured that since I'm already up I would write a post. I've been up since 645 and my daughter is at her dad's and I don't have to work. Somebody needs to figure out what the hell is wrong with me. I should enjoy sleeping in!

Anyway...I've wanted to do a Thankful post everyday this month but that idea just seemed a little overwhelming. Especially since I don't blog everyday. So I decided that I would do a weekly thankful list. Normally it will come out on Thursday but I didn't decide until after Thursay.

{Day One} Thursday Nov 1

I'm thankful for the little girl that calls me mama. She's so amazing and I just can't believe how beautiful she is. Childhood innocence is a wonderful thing and I enjoy watching the awe in everything she sees.

{Day Two} Friday Nov 2

I"m thankful for my momma and daddy. I wouldn't be anywhere without them. They have always been quite good examples of adults. They were never married but they don't mind being around each other. In fact my mom often celebrates holidays with my dad's family. They couldn't make me happier. 

{Day Three} Saturday Nov 3

I'm thankful for Boyfriend. He is good to us. It makes me happy knowing how much he loves Teagan. 

I wouldn't want it any other way. He takes her as his own. We have our moments but the good are always better than the rough ones. 

{Day Four} Sunday Nov 4 

I'm thankful for my Auntie. She's taught me so much about life and relationships. I love how close we are and I can't imagine it any other way. I love her so much and I don't ever want her to forget it.

{Day Five} Monday Nov 5 

I'm thankful for my little sisters. We haven't always been the closest and sometimes they irritate me, but they're mine. I love being an older sister. The relationship between me and my middle sister is fun. I wouldn't trade either of them for anything. 

{Day Six} Tuesday Nov 6

I"m thankful for my best friend with four legs. I love that little dog so much. She truly is my child. 

{Day Seven} Wednesday Nov 7

I'm thankful for my wife. I love that girl. I'm so glad we have become friends. She's amazing!

And there's the first week! They won't always be this sappy. lol.

Halloween!

I missed you guys! Hope you missed me. We had the funeral Monday and yesterday I wasn't around a computer. I haven't even been commenting very much =(. Sad sad. But hopefully now I'm back in full blogger mode...we shall see.

I already told y'all what the weekend was supposed to look like for me but unfortunately it didn't go as planned. We didn't do the Cure for Cancer run =(. It's a long story. There's always next year! I spent my Saturday prepping for the Halloween party! It was extremely fun. Wife and I had to go shopping to finalize her costume for the FOURTH time because she won't listen to me. It's good though. lol. Wife, Boyfriend, and I had a blast. She hadn't drank in two months so she got lit realllllly fast. It was great! Boyfriend and I won the costume contest =). He won for scariest and I won sexiest. It was really unexpected! Take a look!

Our party hosts passed out...it was 5 in the morning.

Yep, a great party that lasted until 5 in the morning. Fucking awesome! Oh...we had to pee outside. That wasn't too fun. Until I got drunk and then I didn't mind. Lots of more pictures on my instagram. Follow me @ clovermarie!

Today is Halloween and I just got an awesome phone call saying that somebody will close for me at work tonight. =) I don't have to rush around with the baybay now. I get to enjoy her company! But it is Wednesday so she has to go to her dad's for a couple of hours. I'll watch a scary something, hand out candy, and drink some vino! 

And it's also my third anniversary with boyfriend. Hence why we get excited for Halloween. I love him =) Unfortunately we don't get to celebrate tonight but hopefully we can go out this weekend. Maybe I can get him to go to the haunted trail down the road with me tonight. A girl can dream. 

I'll be back tomorrow with some pictures of the kid and something about saying No in November! No more hints than that no. Peace out kiddies.
