Life Lately 8.2014

Oh man, I always dream of coming to this space and just hitting a post right out of the park. And then life happens and I never make it. I really need to make a schedule so that I post regularly. Yeah right. Anyway, I just thought it's been a minute so I'd update you about my life.

Blake and I are crazy. We got another dog. That makes two puppies under the age of two. At first it wasn't bad. Now I want to scream half of the time. His name is Marley. And he's the softest dog I've ever felt. He's also a big ol' cry baby. It's cute. He's a good dog. Even when he's getting on my nerves. I thought he would be my dog, but he took right to Blake. Like they all do.

My momma celebrated her birthday this month. I think it was perfect. We spent the day shopping with her momma and her aunt. She got to have not one, but two birthday dinners. It was a great day.

I went to the Missouri State Fair. I didn't go for the fair though. I went to see Jake Owen. And that man, he puts on one hell of a show. I love Luke and Keith with all my heart but I'm sure Jake had more energy during his show than I've seen those two have. He's a great performer and now I love him. I definitely want to see him again someday. But back to the fair, I had the most amazing food I think I've ever had. It was cheese on a stick. Pepperjack cheese with corndog breading. OMG I WANT MORE. I had two, I shouldn't have but damn they were good. I'm going back next year just for more cheese on a stick.

Blake, Teagan, my momma, and I all went to the Oklahoma Aquarium. That was a fun experience. I learned that I want an otter. They are just the cutest things! I was all pumped to see the sea turtles, but their exhibit was still in construction. Jellyfish are really cool looking. I've never been to a beach, so this was my first experience with any type of ocean life. I even held a starfish!

Just one more month until I can start wedding planning! I know, I could have started after we were engaged but Blake asked me to wait until October that way he knew it was a year away and it will be time to get serious. I need to go pick out a wedding planner/binder. I have bought a few things though! When I find good deals, I just have to get them.

I think that's all that's been up over here. Besides the typical things like work and what not. Hopefully I can make it back tomorrow. No promises though.

Girl's Weekend 2014

So about a week and a half ago I took a fabulous weekend trip to Dallas. I love Dallas. Actually it was Arlington, but ya know, whatevs.

My aunt, our friend Kyla, and I all went to see George Strait's last show before his "retirement." Supposedly it will be his last, but give it 5 years and I bet we see him out touring a little. Regardless though we had a blast. And instead of talking all about it, I thought I'd let the pictures do the talking!

I Almost Died

Hey girl hey!

Do you remember me? I sure as hell almost don't and I forgive you if you don't either. Last week was a bad week for me. I plan on talking about it later this week.

I decided that I would confess somethings to your pretty little faces. Linking up with Kathy because duh!

- Friday night I went to see my main man Luke in OK City. It was a fucking blast.

- I had VIP tickets to see him which got me in to a preshow party lounge with free food. Oh, but that's not all. It also gave me a chance to see a 2 song acoustic set by Luke. Kids, I was in heaven. 

- I got really really super drunk on Friday. Like I ate a chicken quesadilla from my love Taco Bell, in under two minutes. Normally, I can't finish one of them. Ooops. It was all in good fun though.

- Drunk Chloe came out and wanted to pee outside. But nobody would let her. She was disappointed. But her vajay probably would have frozen and fallen off. I can guarantee it.

- Everytime I leave OK, I leave a little bit of heart there. Someday, I don't know if I will have any heart left to leave!

I'm saving the very best confession for last...... are you dying to know what it is?

- I shook Luke Bryan's hand!!!!!!! And then I had a slight panic attack. lol. My chest started to get tight, I couldn't breathe, and there were tears. Happy tears of course. Luke has huge hands. Just let that sink in.

A Little Late

I'm a little late to the party. Oops. But not really. My Wife taught me it's better to be late because then people pay attention. Ok, she didn't teach me that but gaww that girl makes us late everywhere. Anyway, I'm getting on a tangent.

Remember that time I went and saw Kenny Chesney in May? Well, I do. Kind of. And I want to do it all over again. It was a lot of fun.

I thought that I'd show you a few after pictures and tell you some stories.

After the concert was over we started to head to our car when I realized that there was good music playing outside. And at this moment I just decided that I was gonna dance. Who cares where we are, who I'm with, of what we're doing. I just wanna dance. That's why I love drunk me. Because she loves after parties. Sober me knows that after parties are just code for a hangover in the am.

If you look close enough, you'll notice that my shoes aren't on my feet. I was tired of them. They hurt so I took them off. I proceeded to tell Kyla that she could sell them if she wanted to. And she almost did. Some old cowboy dude wanted to buy my boots for his lady friend. Weirdo. Luckily, Kyla got smart and didn't sell them.

After the concert we also decided that we just need to tailgate a concert. Seriously. The party going on outside of the Kenny concert was almost bigger than the party going on inside. And none of us have tailgated before. I know, shame. We're just trying to find the perfect concert to do it at though. Kyla suggested Luke's. I suggested that she had a brain disorder. There's no way I'm going to a Luke concert and not getting to see him. Nope.

I also let drunk Chloe have her way and the bitch peed in some bushes outside of a convenient store with no shoes on and other drunk folk everywhere. The line in the bathroom was 54874 people long and I just can't hold it like I used to. Don't ever have kids. So I decided that outside in a bush was best for everyone. It wasn't. I managed to pee all over my jeans. Good thing I didn't care until the next day.

And that's how you party after you party.

Remember when I wasn't feeling well Monday? Well, it's because I looked like this.

Yep, that's a nice sunburn I've got going on there. 

I don't spend a lot of time in the sun. I'm a pasty white girl and I enjoy being one. I may not get skin cancer someday but after this evil burn, I may. It hurt like a bitch. 

So why was I spending so much time in the sun? Well, only so I could go to this.

Yes, Saturday I went to Toby Keith's Oklahoma Twister Relief concert and had a fucking blast. I went with my auntie, blake, kyla (the one that keeps reoccurring in that picture above), and my auntie's niece. The lineup was pretty awesome.

Basically, i was in country music heaven. 

Of course I did some drinking. Do you know me? We had beers and margaritas. The margs weren't that great though. Not enough tequila. That's a thing. It was so hot though that I lost my buzz. 

I've now been to OU. Which makes my heart go pitter patter. But those seats, what in the fuuuck were they thinking. Seriously to get out of my seat and make my way to the food and booze I had to sexually assault every person on the way in front of and behind me. Sorry guys. Hope you enjoyed what was probably a little bit of a peep show.

He was pretty good. I didn't like him much before but I'm a fan now.
