I am alive cupcakes! I really am. It's amazing I know.
It's been a long what seems like two weeks away from here. I've been busy. Ok, not really just too lazy to pull out the laptop. I had nothing to blog about but now my mind is overflowing with things to blog about.
But I can't blog about anything because my damn wifi isn't working. So to solve this problem, I drove on over to McDonald's in my pj's with no bra on because I believe in blogging comfortably. So I get the wifi issue fixed and then my phone starts to fuck up. My computer won't read my phone and I can't update it or upload my pictures to my computer. #firstworldproblems at it's finest.
Anyway....
So I actually pretended to have a life this past weekend. I know, I know I can't believe it either. Before we get started I have to say there are very little pictures. Sorry.
- Thursday after Teagan's cheer practice the wonderful wife text me and said she wanted to get a drink. So I swung by her house and off we went to get a drink. Now, most of you would have assumed an adult beverage right? Well, not me. Apparently I have a grandma brain at the ripe age of 23. I picked her up and swung over to Sonic. I pull in and she says "...this isn't what I meant by a drink..." I felt dumb. lol. So we go to the bar and proceed to have 1 drink. One turns in to two, two turns into the bartender asking me to do her dishes for a free drink...so our one drink is really 3 deep. Mind you she hasn't drank in seven months and I'm on my third long island. But it was a great time! Blake really enjoyed us when we eventually made it to his house.
- Friday I woke up with the worst hangover ever. EVER. I wanted to crawl in a hole and not come back out for days. I still ended up going to work for some reason. Apparently I enjoy pain and being publicly ridiculed by all the wonderful people I work with. After work I tried to sleep but I just couldn't. The wife was having a bonfire. I scooped Blake up and off we went. It was a nice time except I stayed sober and I still felt like shit. We stayed up until 4 again.
At this point I've had 3-5 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period. My grandma brain is NOT ok with this. It almost killed me.
- Saturday after I woke up from my nice long slumber (hangover free!!!) the wife, my mom, and myself went to grab a bite to eat. Then I layed up on the couch all day and enjoyed the shit out of it. I watched ATL, ya know the movie with T.I. in it that has to do with roller skating. Pretty nice movie. What's not a nice movie is Bring It On 3. Why did they keep making them? Why???? I was tired of feeling like a bum, so I got up, cleaned out my car.
Then it was time for the big event of the weekend.
Hunter Hayes, Dan + Shay, and Danielle Bradbery were my nghtly entertainment. Ya know I can't get enough concerts!
I'm not really sure what Dan + Shay are about yet, but they can sing.
Danielle was good. She needs a little more energy.
And the man of the hour, Hunter Hayes.
This kid can perform. He never ran out of energy. Between the 39097438 instruments he played and running all over the stage, I was impressed with his talent. However, he has a lot of slow songs. Which he played. The concert was a little more mellow than what I'm used to. I'm not complaining by any means, it just wasn't my style. And there were so many little girls....like 6-12 year olds. I kind of felt out of place.
But my momma loved every second of it. She adores him. And they got super close to each other so she was excited!
All in all, it was a good weekend. But I'm glad it's over so that I can catch up with my grandma life.

Wingaplooza
Hey there, ho there. Make sure you say that with a Minnesota/North Dakota accent. It makes it better. Sorry I flaked out last week. I had planned on posting 4 days but only got three done. Oops.
I figured that since I did something last weekend I' come and show you all the beautiful pictures from it. lol.
Blake, my dad, stepmom, and I went to Tulsa on Saturday for a little thing called Wingaplooza.
Yes, a festival dedicated to wings. I was so excited about it. But before we could go I had to sit through a stupid work meeting. We're getting 20 new menu items in case anybody that reads this is an Olive Garden addict. We'll be getting different things in every week until the 24 of Feb. Anyway...because of the stupid meeting we had to wait to leave until about noon.
It took two hours to get Tulsa, like always. Blake and I never even had a fight about my driving. Write that down. He thinks I'm a scary driver, so he says. I think he likes to give me a hard time. We get to wing fest, get in, get our free beers. Yes, free. Thank you Groupon. Then we head out to munch on some wings and find my dad and Brandee. That's when we noticed something weird. The second and third booths we went to were out of wings. There were 25 restaurants at the expo, and unfortunately we only got to try 8-10 of them. But we still had so much fun! It was nice spending time with the family and the manfriend. And i had some really good wings. Some restaurant had a raspberry chipotle flavor and it was delicious. Soooo good. But my favorite was from a place called Naples that was actually right across the street from the place we were at. It was a wine bar but apparently they had wings. I wanted to go eat there but Blake said no.

We ended up at an Irish dive bar that was super cool. It was called McNellies. They had all these mugs on the wall with different people's names on them and I wanted to know what was up. So of course I asked our waitress. If you drink 300 different beers there, you get the mug. So yeah, they have over 300 beers. I looked over the menu and ordered myself a Boulevard 80 Acre Hoppy-Wheat beer. It was really good. I've had their raspberry wheat before and it's delicious too! I felt like this pub was my place. lol. We missed brunch by 35 minutes which sucked. But what can ya do!
All in all, it was a great trip. I'm ready to go back!

Blowpops and Birthdays
Happy Monday y'all. Today is my last day of my weekend. Sad face. I was off all weekend long and then got a bonus day. Don't mind if I do.
I have to say, it was a great weekend. Busy, but still great.
My gma, teag, and I went to see my uncle. He's staying about an hour and a half east of us. They got so much snow where he was. I was actually jealous. I hate snow, but if it's going to happen I want it to be beautiful and cover everything. I want it to look like a Christmas card. That's what snows about yo! We took a couple of wrong turns, and ended up at this cute little general store. It was exactly what you'd think of if you were reading a book that was set back in the day. I mean it was just perfect. The store owner had a little bit of everything but not a lot of anything. I was so giddy about being there. He even had free candy jars! Teagan got a kick out of that.
Our visit with Jason (my uncle) was awesome. He has such a good heart and he always always makes me laugh. It was a good visit and we're going back the Sunday after Christmas!
Later that night was Blake's work Christmas party. I wasn't excited for that at all, but it turned out not to be so bad. OK, it was great. The party was at a dueling piano bar that I hadn't been to before. I LOVED it. We drank a little too much and had a little bit too much fun. I took hardly any pictures because I was busy having a great time. It feels good to not have to worry about getting a great shot and to just enjoy myself. But I did have some great shots. Get it, get it. I'm hilarious.
Here are a few pictures from the night.

A BlowPop Martini.
Us with our blowpops.
There's a story here. See, my friend there had been in this bar before and knew about the blowpops that came with the martini. When she asked for two of the martinis, a bitchy rude ass bartender told her that all they have is dum dums. Well, my friend was trying to be funny and asked for a blowpop martini with a dum dum. Bitchy bartender said "if you want a blowpop bad enough you can walk across the street and go buy some. I'm too busy for this." Ummmm what?!? We're both waitresses and got a kick out of her bullshit and her way of treating customers. So, for her tip, we went across the street and got her a couple bags of blowpops. Merry Christmas!
Yesterday was this handsome man's 31rst birthday. It's a good thing he looks good because I sure as hell didn't. We took him out for dinner, gave him some presents. Then we went to renew our Sam's Club membership. Because we don't have a Costco. =(
I know that he had a great birthday.
At least he said he did.

Weekend Stuff
Well, it's Monday again. What can ya do about it?
My weekend was not exciting at all. But that's ok. I was off for most of it and I hung out with Teagan and Blake. Teagan played sick Friday morning claiming that she couldn't go to school but by noon she was ok. Yeah, already at 5 years old my daughter is playing hookie. That little shit.
Here are the exciting parts of our weekend.
Hibachi...we love to take Teag to Japanese Steakhouse. She loves it and so do we. Win win for everybody.
Christmas shopping. I went for two things. Didn't find either. I was a little pissed. But I did get something for Teagan. With her there. That's how you get shit done. It helps to have another adult to do the distracting.
And last, but certainly not least...the football game I've been waiting for was played. And the quarter that I watched was boring. So I quit watching. See, I hate the Chiefs. I don't really have any other reasons other than that my dad taught me to. I just don't like them. And I was ready for them to be stomped by the Broncos. Who I'm also not a fan of by the way. Except for Eric Decker. Did y'all watch Eric and Jessie? It was sooo awesome. And that's why I like him. So many people that I love, happen to love the Chiefs. So seeing my newsfeed blow up every Sunday made me want to vomit. I was tired of their winning streak. And their fans thought that they were so awesome. Shit, they hadn't played any star teams so of course they won all of their games. (yes, they did play the Cowboys, they beat them, by one point. the Cowboys also aren't that good of a team) Their offensive line isn't that great, except for Jamal Charles. So who won those 9 games then? Their defense. Not the whole damn team. And last night you got shut out. See ya in two weeks.

Public Safety Announcement
Happy Monday I guess. It's time for me to go back to work. And the rest of you too womp womp. Why is Monday so cruel?
My weekend...well it was...interesting I guess. We were supposed to do some of this
But instead we got to do this
Why you ask? Well, my Auntie's lovely mustang ended up being in an accident and getting totaled. Blake and my uncle were the only ones in the car and they're both ok. Blake has a super sore neck and thought he broke his collar bone but he's good. Kinda. It could have been worse.
So instead, we watched The Conjuring on demand, ate some pizza and drank some beer. And we had a pretty good night. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to show you.
I feel bad for my Auntie who didn't get to have her big 50 blowout. But we did end up getting together for a nice lunch. We had a ton of laughs and I'm sure we almost got kicked out of the restaurant. =) We'll try again sometime though.
p.s. Always wear your seatbelt.

Weekend Things
'Ello loves. Happy Monday to you! Maybe our Mondays would be better if we stopped hating on them. We'll see. New outlooks and such. From just now. This isn't something I've been thinking about. lol.
So I didn't do a weekend recap last week because I was too damn tired. So today, I'm gonna tell you all about the wonderful Keith Urban concert I went to. It was fabulous. He put on a great show. Six years ago I went and saw him with my Auntie. That was my first country concert. I totally understand why I love him so much after this last show. He puts on one hell of a show. He had two stages, his mainstage and a stage in the back so that people back there could see him up close. He pulled two girls up on stage, took pictures with them, he gave away his guitar which was amazing!, and last but not least, I got to touch him. I cried a little. =))
1. Keith, just plain and simple.
2. Little Big Town. They were so much fun. And that fun bubbly personality that Kim has, it's always there!
3. My mini at the Maple Leaf Parade.
4. Little Big Town and Keith Urban.
5. Auntie and I before we went into a huge ass spook house. It wasn't what I expected. I felt it could have been done a little better but now I've been to a major one. Go me.
6. Seriously, I got confettied by two confetti cannons in one week. How does that even happen? I want permanent confetti and glitter cannons everywhere I go!
7. Miranda Lambert came out to surprise everybody. She looked fab and did great. It's fucking Miranda Lambert so I was excited as shit! This was the first time they performed We Were Us live.
8. We had to get ready in a convenient store bathroom. There's a first time for everything. If you understood how busy our Saturday was, you totally would have done it too.
9. Mr. Urban as he was running by the aisle and I was trying to touch his hand. Well, I got to and this is the picture I got of him. I really wanted to get his face but I was focusing more on touching him...because duh.
This weekend was much more low key. I got caught up on a whole bunch of tv that I was behind on. We went to a birthday party and that's about the extent of the getting out. We watched football of course. And I had a minor meltdown because the Cowboys lost. Buttttt my fantasy team won. We even beat Peyton Manning. And I went shopping because my Auntie's birthday is this weekend. And it's kind of a big deal. I won't put out here how old she is because that's rude, but the number is exciting!
Sunday cuddles.
Blake made me breakfast =)
Getting my christmas list together.
And me winning. Neither of us had any games left. Woot woot.

How to Handle Your Liquor
Well, here we are. We made it to Monday. Sad face. Let's just skip Monday and get right to Wednesday because I get to go see Florida Georgia Line! Eeeep. I'm so pumped.
This weekend was a good one. Friday consisted of work and going to bed at 9 like the old lady that I am. Grandmas just love them some damn sleep. Saturday I worked for 12 hours and then went to the Wife's new house fora bonfire. The weather was perfect for a bonfire. Still chilly but not too chilly. Just great! But unfortunately...I blew chunks by the end of the night. That means it was success right? Sure.
So today I thought I'd give you my rules of drinking. I don't always follow these rules but when I do I'm in for such a nice treat.
1. Always drink your liquor before beer. Ok, this isn't my rule and everybody of legal drinking age should know it. But I don't like to follow rules. Nope, nope I don't. I went jager shot, jager shot, beer, fireball, fireball, jager, beer. Bad bad bad.
2. Mix your liquors. I should have learned this after my 21 birthday that I never told you about. If you wanna make sure that you're gonna blow chunks and feel like shit the next day, always make sure that you mix liquors. As I said earlier....I mixed the wonderful Jager and Fireball. The two are so unalike it's crazy. The only way you can to break this rule is by having long islands. I mean obviously, they have all the booze in them already.
3. Always drink on an empty stomach. Because nothing says I feel like I should blow chunks tonight like not having anything to eat for the past 10 hours.
4. Stay classy. This applies to everyday life. Not just drinking.
5. After you blow chunks, go back outside to the party. Sit there for about 5 minutes, feel sick again so go sit in the wet grass to feel better. Then go to bed.
And that's exactly what I did.

Best 24 Hour Trip Ever
Oh my goodness I had such a great weekend. I definitely needed it and I feel so relaxed now. I have a good work week ahead and now that my head is clear, I'm ready. The server in me felt terrible last week but I think she's back.
I decided that I would tell you about my weekend bullet style because I could ramble on for days if I just did it paragraph style. Ya ready? This is how you have a great weekend.
- Y'all know I went and saw Blake this weekend. He was fabulous! Such a great performer. Even though we were in the nosebleeds, it was still wonderful. We agreed that we'd go back to see him again and be closer this time. He really is a funny person. If I could meet him I would.
- I ate all the things this weekend. At the concert we had some Papa John's pizza and bread. Then after the concert we went by a convenient store and I got a sub and some hot cheetos. The next day I stopped by Cheesecake Factory because I needed to get Blake a surprise so I got two pieces of Hershey's Chocolate Cheesecake to go. Oh my lawwws that shit is the bomb. Seriously, I had never had Cheesecake Factory before and I loooove it. I wanted pumpkin but they don't get that shit until mid-October. The girl upfront didn't think I was funny when I asked if the 5th counted as mid-October. Whatever, she had no sense of humor. Then I went and got myself some lunch at Jack In The Box because I always have to have some when I make a trip to Oklahoma. They have this bad ass machine you can order at. It's perfect for non-social people who also happen to be a little hungover. Then Blake, Teagan, and I had some hibachi
. Yummmmm. We owed it to her. And it was amazing. As always. We celebrated my dad's birthday at Guzzanos Pizza. I don't know if that's a thing or just a local place. I had a beer and a pizzadilla. Pizza and a tortilla? Yes please. They have a really good brownie and my dad got one for his birthday and of course I munched out on it. I think this is the longest point ever. I really like to eat and my inner fat girl was rejoicing this weekend.
- I did fun big(ger) city things this weekend. I ate a hot dog from a hot dog vendor outside of a bar. I'm so super excited about it. I was gonna put the hot dog in the last point but I thought it deserved it's own because I'm proud of it. I saw a food truck for the first time. I love food trucks. We don't have any around us and I just get so excited when I read or hear about them. So cool. We were gonna get food from it but it started to downpour so we took off. I hailed a cab and walked around an actual bar district. It was super duper fun and it makes me want to move to Tulsa. I always want to move when I get back from a trip. But Tulsa is exactly between my aunt and everybody else so it's only a two hour drive both ways. It would be perfect.
- I learned that dive bars are my thing. That's all we have in my little town so I didn't have anything to compare it to. We went to a little place called Arnie's. It was exactly what you'd expect, it looked a little dirty and was small but still so much better than the dance bar we went to. It was called Legends and I just felt so out of place. I mean I love to dance so maybe I wasn't drunk enough. But the people were rude and all I could think was that the girls needed to go home and put clothes on. And that's coming from somebody who loves to show her cleavage off. Hmmm. This place was huge and their were too many people. I'd rather be crammed in a bar that may not have been dusted in the last 6 months and listen to all types of music. We walked back to our original dive bar and grabbed a brew. We sat outside on the patio because it was starting to cool down. Then we invited ourselves to a debate about music with three dudes sitting at the table next to us. They were probably thinking...these crazy drunk bitches.
- Last call was called, ok actually screamed at us. So we decided to hike it back to our car which was a good mile away. No biggie, drunk Chloe will walk for days. And that's when it decided to pour. It wasn't just a little bit of rain, nope, a down pour. I had never gotten makeup in my eyes before that and that shit fucking burns really bad. I couldn't open my eyes! That's when I hailed the taxi like a big girl. I was so proud of myself. Not that there were other people around but still...I like to do these things.
- I went to an Apple store for the first time ever. Guys, that shit is like heaven. iPhones, iPads, iPods, Macs...and a bazillion other Apple products for days. And the staff was super accommodating. I had to make my way over there earlier than my scheduled appointment because we didn't realize our checkout time was 11 instead of 12. They fixed my iPad but I couldn't tell you what was wrong with it because I don't speak techie.
All in all, it was a great mini trip. Seriously all this took place in 24 hours. I also learned to enjoy my 20's because I bounced back from my hangover like a pro compared to Kyla. I'm ready to do it again. Come and get me ladies.
If you ever need a concert buddy, hit me up. I know how to have a great time.

Eat a Snickers
Hola cupcakes. I hope you had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. I'm glad it's over. I'm finally off after two long ass doubles at work. I literally worked open to close yesterday. And I served allllll day. My bones were hurting something bad when I got off work.
Anyway...so remember when I told you that my first fantasy football draft was Saturday? Well, it was. And it was quite the experience. I think manfriend really loves me because there were a couple of tantrums thrown. Ooops. =)
Saturday started out with me getting up and really wanting Red Lobster or Carinos (we don't have a lot of good non chain restaurants. I'm jealous of all of you who do) so I text the boy and said when he wakes up we were going to eat so be ready. And I waited. And waited. And then continued to wait. Finally at two in the afternoon I go back to his house and hes awake! I'm like "Um, thanks for the text. Are you ready to go eat?" Then he tells me that he already ate. I lost it. I was just like a Snickers commercial. I was so hungry that I was turning into a crazy lady. To say I was pissed was an understatement. He didn't even bother to look at his phone. Rude! And I pouted and moped for about an hour. I wouldn't even talk to him for like 15 minutes. I was ridiculous. But I was hungry dammit! So, I settled for some Chic-fil-a because duh. Who doesn't love their chicken?

I had to. Hilarious. Only one more month!
The draft brought out the diva in me again. I'm a perfectionist and need to know everything about anything I'm attempting to do. I'm also a procrastinator and put off everything until the last minute. So I had done zero research about football. And the man couldn't answer my questions so I just about put my picks on auto draft. But I researched my ass off for an hour before it was time. While I didn't feel ready, I did feel better. Next year won't be as hard. I got a pretty good team - I think. Unfortunately I didn't get any Cowboys. I know you're not supposed to pick just from your team but dammit I wanted at least one player. But I got a good qb. Cam Newton please play well!
We were supposed to do the draft at a party but it was online and we didn't want to drag our laptops to a party and then have to worry about them. So we hung out at home and had some beer. I got to try my Pumking that I was dying to try. And unfortunately, we didn't get along so well. I wanted to like it so bad and I didn't. I about cried. I had it all set in my mind about how it would taste. It would be a malty beer that was kind of sweet and tasted just like pumpkin pie. It wasn't. The first drink wasn't so bad. But the end taste and the after taste are what got to me. It was kind of sour. I can't really describe it except strong and sour. Which isn't even a word. I need to learn more about beer so I can accurately describe it. But Blake loved it so it wasn't wasted!
My sad face about it.
And I don't know if you heard the news yet...I don't even know if you care but it's my mission to stay up to date on pop culture so I must report. 50 Shades of Grey is officially gonna be a movie. And they've casted it. Now, I know somewhere on here I talked about how my homeboy Alexander Skarsgard should be Christian Grey. I think he would be perfection. However, Hollywood doesn't give a shit what I think is perfection. They picked my other homeboy. Who you ask? Well, none other than the hottie mchotterson Charlie Hunnam. Although I'm appreciative of him and all his glory that will be shown in this movie, I don't really know if he was right for the part. Even when he cleans up, he still looks dirty. And that's perfectly fine by me. But Christian Grey is not a dirty guy. I don't know if I can picture Charlie all business savvied and what not. We shall see!

Read about My Weekend If You're Not Tired of Weekends Yet
What a weekend.
I took no pictures though. Sorry. Well, I did but they're of the sky, and they're on my instagram so you should go look at them. Now. I'll wait....
Ok, I see you're back now. Hope you enjoyed them. I was half tempted to talk about them so that you'd have to go look. But I won't. Just go look if you haven't yet. My weekend was low key. Just how I like it. Friday night I worked as a server for the first time on a Friday. That shit was crazy! I only teared up like twice. But I told myself to get it together or go home. I got it together. Which is a damn good thing because I ended up with a nice chunk of change for the day.
Saturday I got up early to go home and shower and do laundry. But the only thing I did was lay around and watch the CMT awards with my momma. Then Blake text me earlier than I thought he would and we went puppy shopping! I wanted them all. It didn't matter if they were boys, girls, disfigured; I wanted them all. We went to two humane societies and Petsmart. If I'm being honest, he was being a little picky. I know that's his right but a puppy is a puppy. At least to me. We finally found one we wanted and it turned out that she had kennel cough. We couldn't bring her home =( We couldn't risk his other dogs, the two cats, and my dog getting it. And they won't hold her for us. Sigh. Hopefully she's still there in 10 days when she's done with her meds. Fun fact, it's harder for black animals to be adopted from humane societies than any other color. And she's black, and sick, and isn't fixed. There is hope!
We came home, he mowed. I sat on the porch swing and played on my phone. Typical girlfriend duties. Then we spread lime all through the yard. Well, he spread it. I watered the ground so it would take. It was fun but I'm easily entertained. Who mows and then has somebody water the ground? Yeah, beats me.
We finished Saturday night off with his best friend and his fiance. We went over to there place and played some Presidents and Assholes. I highly recommend this drinking game. More about it tomorrow!
Sunday Funday wasn't the funnest! I actually slept in for once. Shocker. It was time to go home and start to clean Teagan's room. It's not as easy as it sounds. I got overwhelmed in an hour and threw in the towel for the time being. I still have more to do. My gma bought her all new furniture and I had to go pick it up and bring it home. So off Blake and I go to the Import Warehouse to get it. And then to my house to put it up. That shit was fucking heavy. I've never moved before, so moving furniture was quite an adventure for me. It's still in the boxes but at least it's in her room!
That's all I've got. Sorry for no pictures. I know, pretty boring. Hope you have a great week cupcakes. Sorry for the weekend review, if nobody reads it I understand. I can't stand when I do them either.

Why I Better Be Able to Waitress Where Ever I Want
Happy Monday cupcakes.
I had the longest weekend ever possible. Ever.
Server training was this weekend and jeeez am I ready for that shit to be over. I've had to take a beverage test, a menu test, a server test, a safety and sanitation test and everybody's favorite, an alcohol test. And not the cool kind that tells you whether or not you're an alcoholic. No, the kind that asks what to do when people are already intoxicated when they come to eat, or how many beers a shot is equal to. Tests, tests, and more fucking tests. I think I can tell you anything about the OG menu. ANYTHING. I almost cried myself to sleep last night trying to study for the beverage test. So many drinks to know. And of course, I could remember my personal favorites, beer and margaritas, but not a lot of other shit.
I took my first table by myself yesterday. I did decent. I had three tables and after everything was said and done, bussers and bartenders were tipped out...I made a weasly 10 doll hairs. But it's better than nothing. I was so nervous on that first table. Instead of asking if they'd like cheese on their soup/salad I would say "would you like soup/salad on your soup/salad." I felt like an idiot. I've served before so why the nerves? WHY??? But the next table was much better! I even got them to take some samples of wine and they each had a glass too! So my alcohol sales are great. I would be great at serving booze. On a different note though, when somebody is offering a free sample of wine, why would you turn it down? I don't get it. Well, there are some reasons I get, but hello, please pour me all the free samples you'd like! And just so you know, you can get up to three free samples of wine at Olive Garden. Enough to get a good buzz going.
That's how I spent my weekend. Fun stuff, let me tell you. I'm not complaining though. Ok, a little. In the end it will be worth it. I hope.
I signed up for the Itty Bitty Beauty Swap over at Chaotic Goddess Swaps. I love make-up. Not that you would ever know because I hardly ever wear it, but a chance to get some more, I'm all up for that!

3 pages worth of notes front and back. And I wasn't even done. For one test.

My swap partner was Courtney from Air Force Wife & Our Life. She sent me a pretty little package. Everything was wrapped in pink tissue paper...what could be better!
First she sent me this neat little compact! It's one of the ones where you pick out your own colors to put in it. I didn't even know that e.l.f. made this and I think it's pretty cool!
Obviously this isn't my picture but I told her I was in the market for a good nude lip color...and I love this one! It looks way more brown in the picture. It's perfect!
A regular and waterproof mascara duo. Schwing!
And this eyeliner pen. I'm kinda nervous to try it. I had a different one once and it was weird. It's literally like ink. I put my eyeliner on the rim of my eye and the one time I used the other one it got all in my eye. But, it didn't hurt Just scared the hell out of me and turned my eyeball black black for a little bit.
So thank you Cortney. You did wonderful!!
And in other blogger news...this building right here is a Chipotle coming to yours truly! Yes, I've never been to Chipotle. How am I even a blogger? I don't know. But as soon as it opens I'll be in line and then I'll blog all about it. When I get fat, it's your fault.

A Boozy Haze
Good morning cupcakes! Hope you all had a wonderful three day weekend. I had a wonderful 1 day weekend and I plan on showing you all the wonderful pictures from it.
My Wife and I hadn't seen each other since the Kenny concert and she missed me. Ok, I missed her too, but I decided that we were going to our local casino, DownStream, for their brunch buffet. That shit was the bomb. I had a legit food baby all day because I ate too much.
This is also how I ended up passed out by 8:30. More about that later.

Arriving
They have a quesadilla/omelette station. Guys, that's a big deal for the podunk town I live in.
Unexpected chocolate lava cake. But it was sooooo good.
Don't even get me started on the dessert bar.
This may have you fooled, it's not just oj. It's a mimosa. In the largest glass in the history of ever. Around here, people apparently don't know what a mimosa is, or what glass it should come in. I asked if it was normal for them to come in a glass like this, the lady said she wasn't sure what kind of glass I'd like it in. Weird huh. Not one to turn away extra booze, I drank it like a champ. And I soon spent the rest of my Sunday in a boozy haze.
If my eyes don't give it away, I don't know what does.
Had to try these babies. They're just ok. I'll stick to the regular ones. But it did help my booze induced haze.
And then, I was out at 8:30. Sleeping like a baby. And it was wonderful.
