I've Gotta Travel

It's Wednesday. That means I only get one more day off before the stupid weekend comes and I have to work. Sad face. And I screwed myself because last night I didn't want to close so I asked a girl to close for me and told her I'd owe her one. Now I'm working Sunday night because she didn't want to. I was so excited to be off work early on Sunday. That's what I get for not wanting to work my own shifts. But when you're burnt out about on your job you never want to work.

There's my weekly work rant for you. Last week sometime Amanda posted a post about all the fictional places she wants to visit. She got the idea from somebody and I told her I was going to be a copy cat and steal it. Why don't I think of the good posts? These are the places I'll be pretending I'm at come Sunday night.

Charming, CA

Land of The Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Originals. And some of the hottest men I've ever seen in my life. During my stay in Charming, I'd make sure to rub arms with everybody's favorite man, Jax Teller. I would insist on a ride on his bike and then later he could take me to the clubhouse ;) if-ya-know-what-i-mean. 

Bon Tempe, LA

The littlest town with the biggest bite. I don't know if that's really a saying or not but I like to pretend it would be the town motto. I'd hang out at Merlotte's all day because I'd for sure get to see some drama go down. For those who don't know, this is the town that Sookie from True Blood is from and where most of the story takes place. I'd go over to Bill's house after it got dark and insist that he call Eric so we could have a party of our own. And I'd eat my weight in Cajun style food. I might not ever come back.

Empire Records

I wouldn't pretend to know anything about records or what they all consider good music. But I sure as hell would love to have a chat with Lucas because almost everything that comes out of his mouth during this movie is absurd. I'd get naked and dress up in an orange apron with Gina because who doesn't love flaunting it if ya got it. I'd tell Rory and AJ to stop acting like douches and either be with each other or don't. But my absolute favorite part, would be dancing to AC/DC while Joe plays the drums to chill the fuck out.

Harlan County, Kentucky

Ok, this is a real place. However, I know nothing about it and I want to go to the Harlan County where Justified takes place. It seems like one crazy place to live. Kind of like Charming, except very backwoods and country. And it helps that Raylan lives there. If you haven't watched Justified just go do it. I promise you'll like it. If you don't, I don't know if we could be friends. I mean, it has it's own drinking game. Don't you like it already?

ISIS Headquarters

The place that the ISIS gang of Archer hangs out the most. Work. Every characater is a shit show and hilarious. And they love their booze. I would hang out and listen to them degrade each other while geting my buzz on. On the occassion that they do have a mission they need to complete, I'm sure I'll find a way to go because everybody always goes. Even when they don't need to.

Mumbo Jumbo

Hey hey hey. I honestly never know how to start out a post. Idk. I've never been good at introductions or conclusions. I mean as in the writing sense of the word. yeah.... I just rambled. lol. I have a lot to talk about today. I've been trying to think of one topic to blog about all morning but I couldn't. So today you get the rambling mambo jambo that is my life.

First things first....I got started on my Halloween costume!!!! I'm super pumped. Andddd...it's not even October yet. I always wait until Oct. 30 to put it together. Not this year kids. And I got my kiddo's costume already too! Go me.
See yesterday I went shopping with my wife. Now that is just bad news right there. I just get this "spend money rush" when I'm with her. She brings out the shopaholic in myself but that's ok. Because I hadn't boughten anything for myself in awhile. Yeppers. We're gonna be a slutty bride and groom. I'm the groom because it was her idea so she gets to be the bride. Halloween is our holiday. We always spend it together. Wanna see what I've got so far? I'm not sure I really wanna show you guys though. Hmmmm. I'll email you a pic if you ask. I'm so not putting it up here yet.
The kiddo is gonna be a kitty cat. Her costume is so cute! I'm excited.
Halloween also happens to be my anniversary. Yep....we're those people. Except it was a complete accident and that's just how it played out. I promise we won't be getting married on Halloween if we ever get married! Three years...what should I get him? I don't have a clue yet.

On to my second point...Are ya looking for a good crying movie? Rent The Ledge. Not Man on a Ledge, just The Ledge. I watched it yesterday and oh my...it really had me thinking. Like wow. It's really good and has a small cast. Liv Tyler, Patrick Wilson, Terrence Howard, and Charlie Hunnam. (yummy). It does dabble in religion. If you have a problem with people doubting Christianity I don't recommend it. It's not all about religion but it is a main part of it. It's deeper than that though. If you want your mind blown just go rent it. Or am I the only loser who still rents movies? I mean all y'all have Netflix but I don't really dig it. lol.

Dear Matt Bomer, Boy am I glad that I don't watch White Collar because I just can't look at you the same anymore! I know that actors perform different parts but for some reason I'll only see you as a Ken-Barbie male stripper who loves him some ex. And by the way...it's cute how much you can't dance. (I wrote this letter on Monday because it's been on my mind since the first time I saw Magic Mike)

Dear Olive Garden, Do you know how hard it is to find a freakin oxford shirt in the middle of the summer?!? If you weren't so damn picky I wouldn't have had to spend a billion hours looking. Other than that ...I'm so super stoked to work for you. lol. YAY!!!!!! And I had a wonderful time at training today! I'm so super pumped.

Dear Boyfriend, love your face. Remember last week when I was being crazy and you said my period was gonna start soon and I argued with you...guess what I WAS RIGHT! I'm just a hot crazy emotional mess sometimes. My bad and thanks for loving me through it. =)

Dear Wife, My birthday party for you is Saturday and I'm super fucking pumped! Love your face lady.

Dear Workforce, I know I said I joined you last week....but I got my job at my dream place!!! I work at Olive Garden and I couldn't be more excited. Yay.

Dear Auntie, I'm so glad that you're home and we went and spent alone time together at the movie theatre. We saw Magic Mike...yes that makes twice for me. So whattttt!

Dear Self, it will all work out. Somehow. Don't worry so much because your giving yourself heartburn again. Ugh.

Dear Lovely Readers, I know this isn't my usual sarcastic snarky post. Hope you don't mind. I've got a lot on my mind. Next week I'll be back to normal. =)

I Loved It.

 

Not even kidding. Yeah, the plot and the ending were kind of stupid...but it was still awesome. See, I'm not a modest person and I love the word fuck. And this movie had no modesty and the eff word A LOT. Oh....and hot man ass! Who doesn't like hot man ass.

This is all just my opinion of course! I've heard people say why they weren't going to go see it and I didn't judge them, so if you don't like that I've seen it don't judge me. It actually made me happy to hear that not every lady out there thought it would be good or had the urge to see it.

But seriously, if you think you want to see this movie....just go out and see it! You won't regret it. Unless you're my wife. Yeah, she's not really my wife but she's just like one to me. We're super close. I'll tell you about her another day. But she didn't like it. I'm not gonna disclose why though. Y'all don't even know her. lol.




A Review and Sweet Ass Link Up

Oh my that's a long title!

Last night I went to the drive-in here in town with my momma and the kiddo. *sidenote* that probably won't happen again this year. That's a story for another time. Anyway, we saw Madagascar 3 and Snow White and the Huntsmen.

They were both good.

I'm gonna talk about Snow White though.

This movie was really good and I honestly wasn't expecting it to be.

I'm not a fan of Kristin Stewart and I think that she has no talent.

Yes, that means I don't like Twilight. Sorry to hurt your heart.

There was some good, and there was some bad. But the good definitely outweighed the bad.

I'll start with the cons.

- Kristen Stewart lol

- It seemed to pull from a lot of other movies. I saw some Robin Hood,

Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings it seemed.

- The fairies looked like Gollum. I love fairies and these things

were fucking creepers. I was a bit disappointed.

Pros

- The scenery was awesome. They had a beautiful set or wherever they filmed was amazing.

- Story wasn't too fairytale-ish.

Now, I love me some fairytales but damn they can get annoying.

- Hot man ass

He can hunt me and then fall in love with me too!

-Charlize Theron's acting

It was a good movie. Like I said, it wasn't very fairytale at all. Well, the story was but not the setting.

All in all I give it a B+.
