Is That Normal??

I'm in a funk. And a pissy one at that. I don't know why. Life is being pretty good to me right now and I know I should be happy. But something somewhere is pissing me off and putting me in a funk. Besides that I can't think of shit to write about. Blahhhhh.

I'm doing Is that Normal today because I don't have a damn thing to write about. I'm linking up with Allyce from Chalk in the Rain. I think that what she does is pretty fun and it's original! So I decided why not? This week most people had their man candy answer the questions too but I'm not gonna because I don't wanna. Ha! lol.

1. Is it normal for men to hug?
I don't see why not. They don't do it often so it might be weird at first but whatever makes them happy.

2. Is it normal to gag on your toothbrush while brushing?
I think so. I do it when I brush my tongue. No biggie!

3. Is it normal to wear the same bra daily?
Normal...yes. Gross...kinda. But bras are expensive. At least mine are. I have some huge tatas too. That's why. I own two regular bras and two strapless. You can judge if you want...I judge myself for it too. =)

4. Is it normal for grown women to use the words "like" or "um" while speaking?
Like not so much...but umm is ok. Sometimes you can't think of the word right off the bat. Or the answer or whatever the hell you're trying to think of.

5. Is it normal to eat cake batter/ dough?
Of course! What normal person hasn't done this??

6. Is it normal to go "commando" in public/at work?
Normal...probably not. But I know people who do it. Comfort is key.

7. Is it normal to have long toe nails?
NO! That's fucking gross. You either need to cut that shit or hide it in a shoe. And just so y'all know....boyfriend will NEVER get in bed with me with some icky ass long nails.

8. Is it normal to try on an article of clothing in the middle of the store?
Outerwear yes...but if you're trying on a shirt in the middle of the store that's a little awkward. Plus it won't fit right...unless you're just getting naked in the middle of the store. Hahahahaha. YES!

9. Is it normal to tell someone to be quiet or "shhhh" someone in a quiet setting? ie. church, movie theater, meeting, etc.
If they're your friend or family member I don't see why not? But I personally can't tell a stranger that. I just shoot them dirty looks when they get loud. lol. Unconfrontational for sure.

10.  It it normal to change clothes multiple times before leaving the house?
Yep, somedays you don't realize you're having a fat day until you've already put on what you want to wear. I could keep going but we'd be here for the next century.

Family, Beer, and Food

I have a busy day today, so I've already written this post! Ha. I feel accomplished. I have TWO job interviews today. OMG. I was feeling so down because I coudn't get a job and now I have one and two interviews. Eeekkkk.

I hate making decisions y'all. Like, omg they stress me the fuck out. So this more than one job thing is awesome but not so awesome! Just wanted to share that with ya.

This weekend was pretty awesome! Friday night I got to work for an hour. lol. It was onlly an hour but it was great to be working again. My aunt is in town so after work I went to my gma's to chill with them and my little person. Teag decided to stay there because auntie is in town! I went and hung out with boyfriend after that and passed out! Pretty simple.

Saturday was amazing though! A couple weeks ago Blake bought us tickets to a minor league baseball game. We went and saw the Springfield Cardinals. They're basically like the little brothers to the St. Louis Cardinals. Neither of us had been to a live baseball game before so I was super stoked! I hung out with the family again Saturday afternoon until it was time to get ready. This time my sister and niece were there too! It was a great afternoon. I'm just gonna skip to Springfield. Blake and I get to Springfield and we go to Hooters =). I love hooters. I know that maybe pathetic but I'm a boob person. I know I'm a girl but shit boobs are fun to look at. lol. We got an awesome tatortot appetizer! Our wings weren't so great though =(. I was super sad about that. I got a beer...and not just any beer. Like a beer the size of me. Ooopps. I drank most of it. Most...not all. lol. Blake had the rest. He had his beer and the littlest jager bomb either of us had ever seen. The sad thing was that it was a double. We were robbed, robbed I tell you! Anyway....my dessert was delicious. I had chocolate mousse cake....omg it was heaven. And my ass loved every bit of it.

Then it was time to head to the game. I don't like to drive in big cities. So I navigated. And got yelled at. Men....they freak out too bad about directions. I was all "Calm your shit, we'll get there when we get there"...ok only in my head. But damn I was thinking it. Finally got to the stadium....and that's when I remembered parking for this kind of stuff. Boyfriend made us walk a billion miles! Hahaha just kidding. But it was far. And he walked fast....like super fast. We finally got there...and got more beers - for a ridiculous amount of money - anyway...it  was super neat and fun. Our team even won! We walked around the stadium and looked at all the stuff they had going on. There was a team store, concessions, a freaking ice cream bar!, a bar!, a playground, and a bounce house!. So awesome. It was supposed to be "family friendly", I don't know why Blake and I went. We aren't really "family friendly". lol. Sad but true! But we didn't get kicked out or in any trouble! On the way home we had an awesome serious talk. It makes my heart smile. We even talked about moving to Springfield. If it happens it will most likely be like years away. lol. Just dreaming and talking =).

After the game we were on our way home when we saw that the light was on at Krispy Kreme. I got super excited because I've never had any of their donuts before and I thought because the light was on you get a free donut off the line. Well, apparently they changed that and it's only before 11 am. But I still got a donut and it was really good.

And on Sunday there is nothing to talk about. Maybe some other time though. Boyfriend, Teagan, and I all hung out Sunday evening. The end!







Friday's Letters!

I know I just posted a post. It was supposed to be posted yesterday. Buuuuttttt my laptop had other ideas. Isn't technology lovely!

Dear Workforce, I finally get to join you again! Yay. Super pumped for sure! It's only a couple days a week but a job is a job.

Dear Boyfriend, I love you =). That was kinda sappy. But since my last Friday's Letters he has quit being an ass. He even surprised me - TWICE!.

Dear Friday the 13, When you arrive it seems like the restaurants I work at go crazy. Please not tonight. It's my first night. I can't have that happen. This one time, (on Friday the 13 of course) I spilled a ladie's water all over her...that's not the worst part...all over her phone too! I felt sooooo bad.

Dear Teagan, thank-the-good-lord-above you're home! I missed you bad. Our relationship still seems kinda off though. Hoping that wears off soon. I don't like it. Bring the sassy pants back.

Dear Trixie, it was a nice week with just the two of us huh. Hasn't been that way in 4 years. I know you loved it, although you probably got tired of my harassment. Sorrryyyyy. I love you and Teag was gone. =)

Secret Sister Swap

I've been a bum. Not gonna lie about it. =). lol.

I joined a swap this summer that I was super excited about. However, I haven't posted about it and feel terrible. I'm behind in so many ways on here. It fucking sucks.

I'm doing this now because my wonderful swap sister Crystal was worried I didn't get her package. And I so did so I need to be thankful and write the damn post. Jeez my brain is not in thinking mode today.

House Keeping Stuff

First of all, I'm sure you noticed I have a new header and a button. Well, you've noticed if you've been around for awhile. I owe all that wonderfulness to Miss Angie over at My So-Called Chaos. She worked with me and did a really great job on everything. So...if you're looking for a new blog design or just a button or what not.....you should contact her. =)

Secondly I am a member of Influenster. It's a site that lets you try stuff out based on badges that you unlock. They send out voxboxes to a certain demographic of people every few months. And I love free stuff so I joined! I got my first voxbox over the weekend. And it's pretty exciting! I got the summer beauty box and I'm so amped to use the stuff in it.

*update* Apparently I pushed publish and didn't mean to yet. I have some nice comments on here so I'm not going to revert it back to a draft. I'll just make a new post to finish the vox box up =)

If You Knew Me

Ok, so this post isn't an original idea. Are any posts original really? lol. I got this idea from the wonderful Ashley over at Adventures of Newlyweds. I thought it was a great way to get to know me. And not just my get to know me posts but deeper like a friend or family member would. Since I consider y'all to be one I thought this was great!

• I hate when people are mad/disappointed in me. It breaks my heart. If I feel that I let somebody down or I hurt them in some way, I will run off like a puppy with my tail between my legs and boohoo about it until the sun doesn't shine anymore. Not even kidding.

• I'm an only child but not an only child. I have 2 younger sisters but I didn't live with them growing up. It was just me and my momma. So I'm a weird older/only person. And I hate to share. lol.

• I love when people praise/say nice things/ or give me compliments. Even if it's just I love you. It makes my heart melt and my smile so big you can see it from outerspace. Guess that could kind of be because I hate making people mad.

• In the summer I only have my daughter every other week. It's bittersweet. Post about it at some other time though.

• I cuss....A LOT. You might judge me and that's ok. If you don't like it, I'm sorry. I watch my mouth when I need to and make sure it's appropriate.

• I'm obsessed with weddings. I love them. They're beautiful. And this is also a secret...I'm a hopeless romantic. Shhh.don't tell.

• I'm really a natural redhead. I dye my hair a different shade of red and nobody believes me. When I was little it was the color of a penny...therefore kind of red.

• I'm really a brat when I get super hungry. I don't mean to be but it's true. People tend to stay away or just ignore me.

• I'm terrible at being a domestic goddess. I want to be so bad but it just isn't my thing. I'm a decent cook and I  can clean...I just don't like to do either.

• I often find myself wishing my dog could talk. Not even kidding. I bet she has so much she wants to tell me but can't. So I pretend. And she has lots of nicknames.

• I've never been able to pick one thing to be when I grow up. Some examples: A DC Cheerleader (dallas cowboys), a lion tamer, a dolphin trainer, a journalist, chef, food critic, a restaurant manager, a paralegal,an event or wedding (or both) planner,  and *hangs head in shame* a  "dancer" (I was young and not modest. I'm not now either, but don't want to do that.)
