Best 24 Hour Trip Ever

Oh my goodness I had such a great weekend. I definitely needed it and I feel so relaxed now. I have a good work week ahead and now that my head is clear, I'm ready. The server in me felt terrible last week but I think she's back.

I decided that I would tell you about my weekend bullet style because I could ramble on for days if I just did it paragraph style. Ya ready? This is how you have a great weekend.

- Y'all know I went and saw Blake this weekend. He was fabulous! Such a great performer. Even though we were in the nosebleeds, it was still wonderful. We agreed that we'd go back to see him again and be closer this time. He really is a funny person. If I could meet him I would.

- I ate all the things this weekend. At the concert we had some Papa John's pizza and bread. Then after the concert we went by a convenient store and I got a sub and some hot cheetos. The next day I stopped by Cheesecake Factory because I needed to get Blake a surprise so I got two pieces of Hershey's Chocolate Cheesecake to go. Oh my lawwws that shit is the bomb. Seriously, I had never had Cheesecake Factory before and I loooove it. I wanted pumpkin but they don't get that shit until mid-October. The girl upfront didn't think I was funny when I asked if the 5th counted as mid-October. Whatever, she had no sense of humor. Then I went and got myself some lunch at Jack In The Box because I always have to have some when I make a trip to Oklahoma. They have this bad ass machine you can order at. It's perfect for non-social people who also happen to be a little hungover. Then Blake, Teagan, and I had some hibachi
. Yummmmm. We owed it to her. And it was amazing. As always. We celebrated my dad's birthday at Guzzanos Pizza. I don't know if that's a thing or just a local place. I had a beer and a pizzadilla. Pizza and a tortilla? Yes please. They have a really good brownie and my dad got one for his birthday and of course I munched out on it. I think this is the longest point ever. I really like to eat and my inner fat girl was rejoicing this weekend.

- I did fun big(ger) city things this weekend. I ate a hot dog from a hot dog vendor outside of a bar. I'm so super excited about it. I was gonna put the hot dog in the last point but I thought it deserved it's own because I'm proud of it. I saw a food truck for the first time. I love food trucks. We don't have any around us and I just get so excited when I read or hear about them. So cool. We were gonna get food from it but it started to downpour so we took off. I hailed a cab and walked around an actual bar district. It was super duper fun and it makes me want to move to Tulsa. I always want to move when I get back from a trip. But Tulsa is exactly between my aunt and everybody else so it's only a two hour drive both ways. It would be perfect.

- I learned that dive bars are my thing. That's all we have in my little town so I didn't have anything to compare it to. We went to a little place called Arnie's. It was exactly what you'd expect, it looked a little dirty and was small but still so much better than the dance bar we went to. It was called Legends and I just felt so out of place. I mean I love to dance so maybe I wasn't drunk enough. But the people were rude and all I could think was that the girls needed to go home and put clothes on. And that's coming from somebody who loves to show her cleavage off. Hmmm. This place was huge and their were too many people. I'd rather be crammed in a bar that may not have been dusted in the last 6 months and listen to all types of music. We walked back to our original dive bar and grabbed a brew. We sat outside on the patio because it was starting to cool down. Then we invited ourselves to a debate about music with three dudes sitting at the table next to us. They were probably thinking...these crazy drunk bitches.

- Last call was called, ok actually screamed at us. So we decided to hike it back to our car which was a good mile away. No biggie, drunk Chloe will walk for days. And that's when it decided to pour. It wasn't just a little bit of rain, nope, a down pour. I had never gotten makeup in my eyes before that and that shit fucking burns really bad. I couldn't open my eyes! That's when I hailed the taxi like a big girl. I was so proud of myself. Not that there were other people around but still...I like to do these things.

- I went to an Apple store for the first time ever. Guys, that shit is like heaven. iPhones, iPads, iPods, Macs...and a bazillion other Apple products for days. And the staff was super accommodating. I had to make my way over there earlier than my scheduled appointment because we didn't realize our checkout time was 11 instead of 12. They fixed my iPad but I couldn't tell you what was wrong with it because I don't speak techie.

All in all, it was a great mini trip. Seriously all this took place in 24 hours. I also learned to enjoy my 20's because I bounced back from my hangover like a pro compared to Kyla. I'm ready to do it again. Come and get me ladies.

If you ever need a concert buddy, hit me up. I know how to have a great time.

Exciting Stuff

One of my favorite holidays is Halloween. I love getting scared and I hate being scared. And now that I'm a grown up, Halloween revolves around being scared. And the decor...um yes. I love pumpkins. I wish they could be used every season. But then, they wouldn't be special.

So it's not surprise that I joined Swapoween hosted by the lovely ladies at Chaotic Goddess Swaps. I can't wait to start shopping!

Go signup. There's still time!

Happy shopping!

Backin My Azz Up With Blake Shelton

Happy Friday cucpakes! I have this whole weekend off and I'm gonna enjoy every second of it.

Tonight I'm gonna go see Blake Shelton and I'm super pumped about it. So I figured for #backthatazzup Friday I'd give you some good Blake Shelton songs that I hope he'll play.

First there's Ol' Red. I love this song. And I loved it before I knew it was Blake. It's just a damn good country song. If he doesn't sing this I'll be sad.

Of course I have to hear my current favorite, Mine Would Be You. Seeing as how it's on the new cd it will probably be sung. It's just a beautiful song.

Sure Be Cool If You Did is a great song. I was obsessed with it when it came out. I like to pretend that he's talking to me when we're in a bar together. I pretend a lot to music. It's my thing.

And because no Blake Shelton party is complete without him rapping, how about some Boys 'Round Here. It's a great party song. And I love singing the redneck part. When I'm at work and we run out of bread we're supposed to yell to the back and I always yell bread in tune to red red red red redneck. The people I work with love me.

Drink On It is another one of my favorites. And we all know I love to drink at concerts so I plan on drinking to it. =)

Feel Your Boobies

Ahhhh that's the sound of me relaxing for the next four days. I was about done with Olive Garden. It's nice to get a way for a couple of days.

As you all know, it's October. October is also breast cancer awareness month. Obviously this means a lot to me because of my Auntie. It's amazing how you think something only happens to other people and then bam, you're getting the news that somebody you love has it. Breast cancer is not prejudice. It can affect anybody at any time.

So please, do me a favor. It's more of a favor for yourself but it will mean a lot to me as well. Check your boobies! I don't care if you do it yourself or if you have a doctor do it. Just make sure it's done.

Someday we will fight the terrible disease that we know as cancer. I believe that this can happen in our lifetime.

If you'd like to know more about breast cancer click here.

If you'd like to donate to the Susan G. Komen foundation, click here.

And don't forget to check your boobies!

Favorite Color Swap

I love swaps so when I saw this one, I knew I was in. This swap was hosted by the lovely ladies over at Chaotic Goddess Swaps. They have a Halloween Swap signup going on right now. I'm gonna sign up and you should too!

I was partnered up with Kelsey from Running With My Tiara On. She lives overseas in Germany. This was my first time ever sending something over seas and it was quite the experience! It was fun though. She sent me an awesome package filled with some awesome stuff!

Woman Crush Wednesday

Oh my gawwwww. I'm worn the fuck out. I'm so glad it's Wednesday and tomorrow my nice 5 day vacay starts. I've worked a week straight because I'm taking the weekend off. And 4 of those days have been doubles. My body hurts.

Anyway...I wanna tell you about my woman crush today. I have a massive lady boner for none other than ....

Miranda Lambert

That woman is just absolutely gorgeous. I mean of course she is but there are other reasons I chose her for my woman crush today.

Let's start with the fact that she is a dog lover. And she rescues them because she can! I love animals and if I could rescue all the things I would. Last I read she had like 5 dogs or something like that. Her love for animals is just the cherry on top. It's what made me really love her. She spends her time volunteering at events that humane societies are hosting for people to adopt animals. All together now "Ahhhhh."

This video is super cute. A little girl invited her to an adoption event and she went just for her. Watch it.

She's got an attitude. Girl doesn't put up with shit. And I like that in a woman. It's easier for me to be friends with people with girls who don't put up with shit. And I love that her attitude is show cased in her music. How many other female country stars would sing about beating their exes with a gun? I just love it!

Her relationship with Blake Shelton is amazing. They both gush about how much they love each other and I think it's so cute. I know that maybe their relationship didn't start in the best of ways but they do love each other. And she puts up with his BS. People with the initials BS really spew a lot of bullshit. I mean that in thewmost loving way possible. Blake and my dad's initials are both BS and they'll pull you for a loop if you let them. You gotta be on your toes with these people. =)

When I'm famous, she'll def be the first person I ask to hang out with. And we can drink beer and go shopping together. The boys can sit at home and drink beer and think of things to give us shit about.

The Wonderful World of October

Do you feel that? Feel what you ask, well you guys it's finally October! This is my favorite month of the year. I looooove it. I was in such a funk this last week and couldn't figure out why. Then I realized that I was really in need of October to be here. I love my birthday because I share it with Jordan and I get a holiday, I mean how fucking cool, but if I had to choose my own birthday it would definitely be in October. It's just the best. It makes me so super mega ultra happy.

This month I have a lot going on. I figure I'd fill you in on why I just love October so much. I'm a little overwhelmed just thinking about it all but I'm still super pumped!

- I have not just one, but three concerts coming up this month!! Eeeeep. This weekend I'm gonna go see Blake Shelton with my aunt and miss Kyla who went with us to see Kenny in May. I'm more than ready for some debauchery and craziness. Who knows what will happen when we're all together. Then I'm gonna go see Florida Georgia Line and Keith Urban. Both of those shows are in the same week!

- It's Maple Leaf month. I know I've talked about Maple Leaf before, it's just so fun. There's a whole week of shenanigans to go to, some things I wanna try and get to are the lip sync competition, a couple of wine tastings at our local liquor stores, and of course the parade! The morning of the parade the fire department hosts a pancake feed and I haven't been in forever. Friday night before the parade our one and only local watering hole somehow manages to fit the whole town in the bar and it's a wild and crazy party. I haven't been but I want to go this year.

- My daddy, littlest sister, and uncle's birthdays are all this month. I really want to get together with them and have a great dinner and just a good time.

- It's gonna start getting cold! I already pulled out my new boots because hello, it's October. I love the crisp air against my face and layering my clothes. What's better than leggings and boots!

- I'm gonna start using my crockpot again. I love my crockpot I just don't think that there's anything I can make in the warmer months. I want to use it once a week for sure. Know of any good crock pot recipes? Let me know!

- And uh...ya know Halloween!! It's one of my favorite holidays. I just love it. My daughter obviously got this from me because all year long she talks about what she wants to be. I'm not even kidding. Halloween talk at our house goes on for a while. She's already planning what she wants to be next year. It might be a problem. Blake and I are going to a Halloween pub crawl in Springfield. I'm not buying a new costume because I can just wear my one from last year again. Because it's the fucking bomb!

- It's time to start thinking about Christmas presents! I know what I want to get mi familia and I need to start working on them. If I keep procrastinating then I won't be able to do it. Ahhhh.

So bring it on October, I'm ready for you!! Are you pumped for October?
